Casual comfort food with a fine dinning feel. - Edit

Went to the Arbor for the first time today and fell in love. It has a fairly small menu with almost everything vegan or can be made vegan. I had the Arbor burger with egg plant bacon and nut cheese, tacos, and pulled jack fruit steam buns. All we're unique in flavor, filling, yet not to heavy. I personally loved the Arbor burger. Just be warned it does not come with fries if your staving. I will be back soon to try out the remainder of the menu. Hopefully The Arbor will go 100% vegan eventually.

Pros: Unique, Light yet filling , Great atmosphere

Cons: Serves dairy

Fancy comfort food - Edit

Is there such a thing as fancy comfort food? Yes, at the Arbor!
We went there with friends on their opening week so we could order a bunch of items and try the different flavours. It is a very easy place to share food.
We had the broccoli popcorn (delicious), fried oyster mushrooms (amazing!), veggie burger (didn't try), the rice wrapper rolls (nothing special), the fried artichokes (also delicious), fries (really good but not as good as Meet) and the fajitas (didn't try. Looked yummy)
All 3 desserts were vegan and gluten free: the banana beignets, the chocolate pudding with lemon cream, the spices GF bread pudding. We were so full at the end we didn't have much appetite for them but they were all beautiful and tasted great.
On the whole, the food was really good. I would like to go back to give them a fair chance before really rating but I think it would be a solid 4 * anyway.
We liked the environment, it will be great in the summer when they can open up the patio. It was really good comfort food and I look forward to trying more of the menu.
While the restaurant is vegetarian, it is very vegan friendly and very gluten-free friendly.
A must try!

Pros: Very vegan friendly, Very gluten-free friendly, Great flavours

Cons: Might be a bit small
