This would get 5 stars but as it has a few non veggie/vegan options, it’s a 4.

Lovely staff, amazing food, all served professionally. It’s not standard pub/bar food.

Pros: So many delicious vegan options , Very well presented , LGBTQ venue

New menu

New menu is still "Vegan first" and is slightly East Asian inspired menu. Tried their sweet potato Bao Buns with spicy peanut sauce. Nom!

Pros: "Vegan first" menu. Clear labeling on the menu

Quirky Homely Pub

The Apple Tree is an unconventional neighbourhood pub. It is now independently owned, since June 2018 and has been turned into a quirky, colourful, warm and homely space.
They welcome everyone, specially non-conformists, those living an alternative lifestyle, outcasts and LGBTQ+ people. Gender neutral toilets and accessible toilet available.

The current menu was put in place by head chef Steve Wilson in November 2018. It is plant based first with one meat option and 2 vegetarian options.
An exciting, delicious Fully Vegan Sunday Roast was started in February 2019 with 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts.
The menu is mediterranean inspired with a strong tapas vibe. Fresh ingredients, well seasoned, different textures, beautiful and colourful plates.

The staff is super helpful, caring, appealing and eager to tend to our needs.

Pros: Excellent Food, Amazing Staff, LGBTQ+ Friendly Venue

Cons: Kitchen hours, Waiting times vary
