Great Vegan options

Came here with meat eating friends, plenty of vegan starters and mains and even a peanut butter pie dessert option which unfortunately I didn't have time to sample! Had the mushroom stroganoff which was lovely and reasonably priced at £9.45

Fantastic vegan pub grub!

Cannot fault our experience at The Angel Inn today. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and our server went above and beyond to make sure of our dietary requirements. The food is mostly great quality, simple pub food with no pretention. We had the veg pie (which is more like stew with potatoes on top) and the beetroot burger which I thought tasted amazing. Really hope to go back to try the mushroom stroganoff! Also this place is great for kids with plentiful high chairs, great baby changing area with nappies and wipes provided, plus books and colouring etc to keep them entertained. Would have given 5 stars if I could!

Pros: lots of choice. helpful and informed staff.

Cons: none at all.

Good menu and great service

Really good to be able to eat out vegan at this pub. Lovely venue and great service.
Sadly the chips are cooked in with meat and fish and no vegan spread/ margarine so menu is more limited than it first appears but the dessert was amazing so all round good experience.
