Really good food and friendly staff - Edit
The Alex has a great range of vegan options - make sure you ask for the vegan menu. Everything we had was very tasty and well presented. The staff are clued up on vegan options too.

Lovely pub grub!! - Edit
The menu must have been expanded since the last reviews because there was loads of options! I went for a Keep It Simple Chick’n burger (also a choice of “no-beef”), sweet potato fries and a side of Mac n Cheeze and my gosh it was absolutely what I needed after a day walking around! Delicious 😋

They are getting there! - Edit
The Alex have gone out of thier way to create a great vegan menu, although some of the food is very basic and bland, sometimes feels like it's rushed, could be down to the busyness of the place.
