Maybe for veggies but not vegans (yet) - Edit

Not many vegan options and the ones that are are just veggies on bread with no vegan cheeses, and little or no sauces/dressings, plus served with store-bought potato chips and drinks. I sure hope they will add to their menu because it's in a great location and has a chill vibe, but if not, this place is better for vegetarians, not vegans, because there's just not much interesting stuff to eat.

Pros: good location , chill vibe, fast service

Cons: not vegan friendly , expensive prices , close tables

Some creative vegan options - Edit

We really wanted to love this new ABQ place but didn't really feel the vegan vibe much. The Acre is a new vegetarian restaurant and were glad to see such a beautiful casual new place open up and they were filled to capacity on the Saturday night we went. Unfortunately, they were out of the Meat(less) Loaf Sandwich and the vegan ranch dressing too. We ordered the Comfort Dogs and the Comfort Club both of which were using carrots which I was excited to try but alas they were both a bit too crunchy to pass as anything but carrots. The Buffalo Cauliflower was delish and a good starter even though the vegan ranch was missing. The vegan pasole was ok tasting a bit like canned stock. Unfortunately, the coconut ice cream was really icy and left unfinished. I really want to love and support this place but left feeling pretty disappointed. Maybe vegetarians will dig it more than this vegan. We shall try again as they iron out the kinks and hope they add more vegan items. Stars given are rounded way up.

Pros: vegetarian with vegan options, cool hip interior

Not a favorite of mine - Edit

The restaurant is a stereotypical vegetarian restaurant that meat eaters think we eat. They literally just replace everything with a vegetable, they put a carrot in a bun and called it hotdog. If your a snobby vegan/vegetarian you'll love this place, if your a chill vegan then this isnt your place.

Delicious food! - Edit

We have been patiently awaiting the opening of The Acre, and we were not disappointed! We went today and we ordered the ‘Comfort Club’ and the Vegan Sampler. The club sandwich was delicious, with carrot bacon, and the sampler had delicious vegan posole, a soy-coconut parfait, a salad with vegan chipotle ranch and hash browns. Delicious food, great employees, and a lovely brunch.

Pros: Excellent food, Beautiful place, Great staff

Cons: Has a lot of items with cheese
