Unreliable for vegan food

When ordering we were told one chef wasn’t in today so only one deep frier was working so nothing deep fried would be vegan because everything including meat and fish was being fried in the same oil. I ordered green tea but was given iced green tea with cream on top - I sent it back. Our wok cooked stir fry was meant to be cashew and tofu stir fry but we were given sweet and sour tofu stir fry. Yes this was vegan but one was 3/4 onion. We wouldn’t feel confident enough in food being vegan or the correct (potentially vegan) meals being served to go back.

Pros: Staff were polite

Cons: Unreliable

They served me real chicken

I love it here and have been many times over the years. I was really looking forward to trying the plant based chicken in my curry. When it was served I commented to my husband how authentic it was . I asked him to taste it as I thought it was so real . Then my doubts kicked in…I asked the waitress to check my food, she took it away and then apologised as there had been a mix up in the kitchen . I just wanted to be sick - they brought me the plant based and it was so different- I am utterly disgusting Ed that I have been forced to eat chicken. I also had to ask for another rice , spoon and plate as I sat there with my new dish. I would give it zero score if I could! They did take my food off the bill without me asking. #Veganuary

Lunch for family of 6

Excellent lunch for a vegan, vegetarian and 4 omnivores. Quick and efficient service. Would highly recommend.
