Lovely food and experience - Edit
Went with my two kids when it was quiet and had a lovely chat with the owner, who was really nice and friendly. The food was really flavourful and was quick to arrive. No fish sauce in any of the Currys, and a clearly marked vegan appetiser section. Would recommend!

Simply Not Good - Edit
I ordered their yellow curry with tofu and asked to remove fish sauce as I frequent Thai restaurants and know that several use fish sauce for curry. I was very pleased to hear that they do not use fish sauce in any of their curry. Food arrived and presentation was remarkable. That's where the positive experience ended. Yellow curry is my absolute favorite dish, but this one was nothing but flavorless paste. The tofu was also unseasoned. My wife got a non-vegan dish and also said hers was incredibly lackluster. To make the experience worse, not once did a waiter come to our table to check on us or offer refills. The cherry on top was watered-down soap in the men's restroom that probably does not meet sanitation standards. The sugar on the top on the cherry was the cost. Never in my life have I paid $23 for Thai curry. To spend it on such a lifeless dish was a complete insult. I would not recommend place by any standard.

Favorite Thai place - Edit
This is my favorite Thai place I’ve been, not hyperbole. Moving out of Texas so likely won’t be back for a while, but this place is great. Fantastic, personable service as well!

Great vegan options! - Edit
Their red curry with tofu is really good! They also have a few vegan appetizers. I appreciate that they have the vegan options on the menu clearly marked and as a bonus, other items can be made vegan as well.

Too rich for my blood - Edit
To be fair, I didn't order the food, the price was ridiculous - I fancied a Massamun curry (mostly potatoes), with tofu and broccoli added - but at just under $30, I chose to leave.
Read moreI've eaten at great Thai restaurants, including purely vegan ones - let's face it, Massamun curry is a standard - $12 is normal and fair - but I don't care to be gouged!

I waited for this? - Edit
From the time I sat down to the time I got my food forty-five minutes had passed. Watched other people get their food before me.

Four star food, $$$$$ price tag. - Edit
Food was awesome. I will say this, be prepared for a fine dining price tag. $4.95 for a non alcoholic drink??? Most dishes are $15 with a few hovering at $20. Portion sizes are do not reflect price tag. I mention this because most people on happy cow are not looking to spend $$$$$ kind of money.

Good option in seafood town - Edit
There are no dedicated vegan restaurants in Corpus Christi. Thai Spice is a good option with many choices. The dishes were presented very creatively and beautifully. The waiter was nice, but rushed us through dinner as if it was lunch hour--even after being told that we were not in a hurry.
Read moreMost dishes can be made vegan by selecting the vegetable or tofu option. They will also leave off egg upon request. One warning: I mentioned that I didn't want "meat." I ordered a noddle dish I wasn't familiar with and the server asked if I wanted him to leave off the egg. The description didn't include egg. So, to be sure, ask if egg is included or make sure you want it omitted.

ALL Dairy-Free - Edit
Everything on the menu is dairy free, and there are a lot of options! Just sub tofu in and you’re set for vegan. I got the yellow curry with veggies and tofu, I posted a photo for reference! It has a peanut taste and was a bit spicy. We were seated immediately and the host was knowledgeable on veganism and how to make a plate cruelty free.

Really tasty - Edit
Very good, easy to order vegan and gluten free. The couple who owns it is very sweet. My boyfriend is a meat eater and enjoyed his red chicken curry. My yellow vegetable curry was even better. The presentation was elaborate. The desserts looked good and were all vegan but we were full. A bit expensive at $20 a plate -especially as I just ordered veggies, no tofu or other protein- but I think we would come again on a night where we really wanted to eat healthy but didn’t feel like cooking.

Amazing! - Edit
I really wish I could give Thai Spice a five-star rating because they are seriously one of the best Thai restaurants we have visited throughout the United States. The chefs are amazing and are very understanding to a gluten-free vegan option. I wish this restaurant was in San Antonio, it’d be Thai Thursday’s for our home!

Great choice while in Corpus Christi - Edit
My family and I were pleasantly surprised when we asked about one of the items on the menu and the server immediately said that they could make any dish on the menu Vegan. What a relief. The food we great. The presentation of the dish was amazing. The serving size was more than one person could comfortable eat. The atmosphere of this establishment was relaxing and the interior was spotless. The owners were very friendly. When we travel to this area again we will definitely return. If the rating tool would let us, we would give this place a rating of 5 cows!

Every entree and curry on the menu can be made vegan! I had the lemongrass tofu, which was easily one of the best Thai dishes I've ever eaten. My fiance's tofu green curry was served in a coconut, which looked incredible. Both were served with a side of fresh pineapple. We also ordered the veggie crispy rolls, which are served with a chili-peanut-apricot-cucumber sauce. I've never had that combination before but I really liked it. I do wish the dishes had been one or two dollars cheaper, but I loved the food so much that I can't complain. I'd definitely come back if I lived in the area.
