A Thai place with clearly marked vegan options! - Edit
So the place looked worn on the outside and it was odd having worn takeaway menus at proper restaurant tables but the service was the best we've ever experienced in England with staff even aware of a wanting glance around from the opposite end of the restaurant. Applicable dishes were clearly marked 'vegan' and there were many to choose from including staff being happy to make the Royal Sharing Platter entirely rather than mostly vegan. Good selection of beverages, including the best virgin Pina Colada I've had since a trip to Jamaica years ago, and even some desserts on offer (although we were too stuffed to attempt any). I hadn't had sesame/shrimp toast since going veggie 35 years ago and was delighted to find a vegan version here which was yummy.

Gluten-free & vegan! - Edit
Finding options that were vegan or gluten-free (let alone both!) was very difficult in Whitstable - Thai Orchard was a welcome relief from this! Good with allergens and lots of choice. Unfortunately, the tofu was missing from some dishes, in addition to the pad Thai being extremely sweet and one dish being very heavy on the aniseed . Overall it was a good experience and very grateful to be able to eat a proper meal that met dietary requirements!

Ok but not amazing - Edit
The restaurant is quite outside of the main street and the inside is not very cosy (big room with little decoration, furnitures aren't very pretty). Staff is friendly but a liiiiittle bit oppressive (they will come every two minutes to ask you if you know what to order even though you just arrived + will not very discretely check if you're done when you eat and will take the plate from you a second after you put your fork down). The meals were ok but not amazing (our starter was wayyyy too spicy even though we love spicy food, the main was good but not unforgettable at all). Prices were ok. I'm not sure I'd go back.

Our favourite Thai restaurant! - Edit
We love this restaurant and eat here almost every week! They have a varied veggie menu and the food is delicious. Portions are a good size and the service is great. We love the massaman tofu curry, but all of the dishes are good!

My husband and I ordered the Massaman curry, rice and pad Thai noodles, and we had to order another curry because it was that delicious!!

Good vegan choice - Edit
There was a whole vegetarian menu, which we were told was also mostly vegan with a few exceptions (e.g if you want the pad Thai ask for it without egg). Staff seemed fully clued up when we explained we were vegan and when I double checked there was no fish sauce in the dishes marked as suitable they said there wasn’t.

Amazingly flavoursome and fresh food. - Edit
We visited as 2 vegans and 2 meat eaters. They had separate vegetarian sections for each section, all dishes easily veganized, just ask for no egg.
