Everything was ordered from the vegan menu.
Read moreWe ordered a selection of plates. The tempura mushroom and tofu starter with peanut sauce and spring rolls. Both lacked flavour.
The mains we ordered the tofu aubergine tamarind stack which looked delicious but lacked flavour again and you could just taste a fried flavour.
The tofu pad thai was alright, nothing special.
However the Massaman curry and coconut fried rice saved the day and was delicious. Massaman could have done with more vegetables as it was mostly curry.
Pros: Massaman curry, Coconut fried rixe
Cons: Springs rolls, bought in not fresh no flavour, Pad thai - not a lot of flavour, Tofu aubergine- lacked flavour

Loved our dinner here tonight. Such beautiful interior, vibe and warm welcoming staff! Everyone greeted us personally and said thank you at the end. And the food was just exquisite! Definitely recommend and plenty of veggie and vegan options! 😋

Nice Thai restaurant, quite heavy on meat, with a small vegetarian section in the menu. No vegan labeling, so I inquired for vegan options up front and received quite a fast reaction by email, saying that all vegetarian dishes in the menu were suitable for vegans except no. 93 (Thod Man Khao Pod).
Read moreWhen I placed my order in the restaurant I mentioned that I would like a vegetarian dish without fish sauce, oyster sauce or shrimp paste anywhere in the ingredients (experience with various Thai restaurants thought me to stress this out). The waitress seemed quite confused, saying that when those ingredients were being left out the food won't be tasty. Then she asked a colleague of hers for help. The colleague said that those ingredients won't be used in my dishes and that the first waitress was just a temporary help who did not know. Hm.
The dish I ordered was nicely arranged and it was quite good. But indeed, just leaving out some components makes it somewhat less tasty than it could be - compared with some great Thai dishes I had in a vegan restaurant in Bangkok. But at least there were no animal ingredients in it, and it was fresh. I do wish however that more Thai chefs would look, for example, at the great vegan Thai cookbook of May Kaidee to get some inspiration about alternative spicing...
Pros: variety of vegan dishes, friendly staff
Cons: heavy on meat, not all staff aware of veg, no alternative spicing
