Serves meat, vegan options available. Small Thai restaurant located at the end of Storgata not far from Nerdstranda shopping mall. Peaceful atmosphere. There is a vegetarian/vegan menu with appetizers, main course, and dessert (not the same as the online menu). The food is traditional Thai food but it is made for Norwegian mouths, so if you like it spicy let them know. Most dishes are gluten free (ask to leave out soy sauce). Large portions. Small choice, big portions

The choice og vegan dishes isn't extensive on the list. However, whatever stuff I ate here has always been tasty!
The price and portions are really the best I have found in town. Especially if you take it as a take out, also if you eat in you can always get more rice! For under 200NOK you get enough food to be kinda stuffed with two people are one super hungry person. Have not found anything of this sort in town. Give it a try!

Minimal options, not great

Whoever submitted this listing saying they have "large portions" wasn't entirely accurate. The portions are normal-sized, and quite expensive (standard for Norway, but expensive for the rest of us).

Their vegetarian section of the menu is really just the same thing offered in 5 ways - vegetables, tofu and rice, with your choice of red/green/yellow curry, stir-fried or steamed. They also had spring rolls and soup, so I wouldn't consider this an extensive vegetarian section; it's less than what I'd expect at a Thai restaurant of any flavor.

Skip this place and go to the Indian restaurant 3 buildings down on the other side of the street. Bigger portions for same price, plus free wifi.

A rather disappointing experience

We were in Tromsø for the weekend and there is a limited selection of vegan food places so we were happy to find this place where we were told that the veggie options were in fact vegan. The choice looked quite big until you realised that it was all much the same but different colours! Red, yellow or green. The meal was good so we went back another night, HOWEVER, this time the veggie spring roll starter we chose had meat in it so we were pretty upset. They apologised but no discount was given. Be very careful if you go here, check the inside of things before putting it in your mouth - otherwise you may get a nasty surprise.

Pros: Vegan choice, Reasonable price, Water served on arrival

Cons: Meat in veggie food, Not very friendly, boring choice
