Nothing is truly vegan or vegetarian

If you truly do not consume any animal products don’t go here. Everything they makes has chicken stock, fish sauce and the like. Some of the servers may tell the customers that some items are vegetarian but nothing is. Be careful.

Pros: Nice location

Cons: Nothing is without animal products

Disappointing

We ordered vegan Thai curry and stir fry vegetables, and they were extremely bland. Whoever packed the bag for delivery packed the container of curry at the very bottom and it spilled all over the bag, getting everything else wet. The entrees were served with a “side” of rice, but the amount of rice far outweighed the entrees. Seems like an easy way to cut food costs. The order was about $40 after delivery fees, and the food was only made palatable after adding condiments from the fridge. Thai Garden is a very poor representation of Thai food.

Pros: Vegan options , Delivery available

Cons: Bland food , Poorly packaged , Lots of rice. Not a lot of vegetables/curry

Veg*n Friendly Asian in Downtown Lincoln

On a recent visit to Thai Garden we tried some of the vegetarian dishes: Buddhist Delight, Vegetarian Pepper Steak, Mixed Vegetables with tofu. They also have some veg appetizers and curries on the regular menu. The food is good, not outstanding, but you can spice it up if you like. It's fun to order several dishes and eat family style. Service can be slow at times. It's a good option if you're downtown and if you're eating with meat eaters.

Pros: good food, many choices

Cons: Service can be slow
