“No Vegans” posted on the door - Edit
This used to be our go-to in Watkins Glen, but they have recently posted “No vegans” signs on the window indicating NONE of the food is vegan and they will not accommodate vegans. This looks quite rude; luckily they have recently opened an all-vegan restaurant, Thai Green Elephants, around the corner - and it is excellent. So skip this one and go straight there!

They are so nice, the food is always delicious and they are very comfortable with making your order vegan since so many of us Farm Sanctuary peoples eat there on the regular. I highly recommend the vegan curry puffs and summer rolls.

Vegan and GF option near the Farm Sanctuary - Edit
There isn't a lot of vegan friendly food in Watkins Glen, so this is the best option I found in the area. Many entrees and vegan and gluten-free options. Staff are knowledgeable. My basil entree was nice and spicy, with good vegetables, just too much oil. Tofu appetizer and edamame were good. Overall not quite as good as the Thai places in Corning or Elmira, but still glad I went.

The staff were completely conscious of how to prepare things vegan. Extremely accommodating and very friendly. They even reminded me about fish sauce in a dish which I hadn't even thought of. It was so good, we went back the next day.

We had an incredible vegan feast of fresh rolls, drunken noodles with tofu, Thai fried rice, pad see ew, and pad Thai all made vegan.

Lots of dishes can easily be made vegan! I got the spring rolls and basil fried rice (ordered vegan) it was DELICIOUS! so happy with the flavors of everything. Make sure to order vegan to ensure there is no egg or oyster sauce in your meal. Super yummy

Top notch Thai food - Edit
Did take out here - they have a little window so you don’t even have to go inside , important during COVID times. Ordered the Drunken Noodles, and this was pretty much the only time I’ve ever ordered this dish that it has come with enough vegetables. It was spiced just right for my request of “medium” spiciness. Really delicious. I always order steamed vegetables as a side to increase the amount of veggies, and I ALMOST didn’t need to this time. Also, AMAZING mango sticky rice!

I ordered the Pad See Ew with Tofu and Veggies. It was delivered promptly and was quite tasty. We also ordered a fresh summer roll as an appetizer, and it was very good as well.

Read moreVery comfortable and pretty restaurant with an extensive vegan section on their menu. We had a Pad Thai and a red curry. Both were delicious and served hot and with a beautiful presentation.
The staff was very nice and made us feel very welcome.
We plan to return to Farm Sanctuary (one of the best places on earth!) and we will be sure to come back here for a great meal.
