Incredible Veggie Bowl - Edit

Staff is fantastic, even had a small concert by owner and manager!! Veggie bowl totally vegan, staff accommodates vegan. Return every year during Storytelling.

Pros: Veggie bowl with black beans and veggies, Stagg, excellent.

Delicious - Edit

Would give 5 stars if happy cow would let me. The hemp hearts on the vegetarian tacos were phenomenal! A perfect nutty flavor that blends with the smoky fajitas, corn taco shell and veggies.

Hemp Hearts but Cheap at heart - Edit

Overall, you have the feeling they think you’re basically going to steal the silverware before you even order or at least they nickel and dime you beyond reason $1 for 2 tablespoons of any item. The menu is plastered with “EXTRA charge for any substitutions”. They actually charge you for every item you put in your burrito after 3 items, so no the sour cream, cheese, avocado, beans, veggies aren’t automatic. No sides included (such as beans and rice.) The Charge for chips and salsa is $4.00 No one was in here when we came for lunch on a Thursday. Lots of staff hanging out though.

Pros: Taste of food is bland actually nothing special, They have bland hemp hearts to sub for meat , Beans and rice are vegetarian.

Cons: $12 burrito. Waitstaff not interested in guests., No salsa, brought us Tapatío Hot sauce instead., More interested in being hip than hospitable.

Good food - Edit

Their food is really good and it is always fun to be in the historic downtown. Hemp hearts are good, but really all of their veggie based foods are good too.

Hemp hearts! - Edit

Love that this place has a hemp hearts option instead of meat for tacos and burritos. Their salsa is delicious too. Careful, their guacamole has sour cream in it, so ask for sliced avocados instead. The owners are knowledgeable about veganism so eating here is not hard at all. Delicious food. Their fajita vegetables and potatoes are so good!
