So many great options. Mostly outdoor seating with a small indoor bar on the window. Lots of Israeli dishes. They also do special orders for holidays and sell great vegan desserts that can be taken home. Shnitzel is a winner!

A variety of Israeli/Middle Eastern foods, like hummus, shawarma, kubbe (plus shakes and other items) and all vegan! We had a feast there and enjoyed every bite! If you are vegan, and in the “merkaz” area, this place is a must!

One of my favorite places. The menu is huge, to food is delicious, portions are big and the staff is so friendly.
Read moreBeen there a few times and always a success. My kids love it, my gluten free friend was blown away by the options, and I keep trying new things every time cause they have so many options.
Some of my favorites are: kubbe (קובה), tofu nuggets, Kung Curry, green lentils with chard, the desserts (all of them).

We LOVED everything about this restaurant. The place itself is beautiful and cozy, with lots of plants and fairy lights.
Read moreThe menu is 100% vegan and has a very long list of dishes, including everything from burger with fries and salad to couscous and veggies. They also have a significant amount of desserts.
We ordered the shawarma and schnitzel dishes, and chocolate cake and muffin for dessert, and were blown away by how delicious they all were.
The waiters were really attentive and nice throught the entire meal.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious food, Great service
Cons: They didn't have all the desserts on the menu

הבן שלי רצה חומוס, לא היה... הבת שלי רצתה אייס קפה, לא היה. רצינו להזמין שווארמה, לא היה. רצינו להזמין ביונד בורגר, לא היה. זכרנו את המפרום לטובה, לא היה. חיכינו לקינוח השוקולד ללא גלוטן, לא היה.
מה שכן אכלנו, עדשים, קינואה, קציצות, היה טעים מאוד.
אהבנו את החתול המתוק:-)

Cons: סימון המנות ללא גלוטן מעורפל והמלצרים לא בטוחים, הרבה מהמנות שהגענו בשבילן היו חסרות

Healthy vegan food - Edit
Tried the variety plate at Teva haochel - you get to choose 5 stew/vegetable dishes + 2 salads from a long list. The food was good, simple, and healthy and I would certainly go back. I noticed that a lot of other diners were also ordering the variety plate, but the restaurant does offer a full menu with other options. Note that the restaurant is casual with seating is on the street, not anything fancy.

Great place for delicious food - Edit
These guys know how to make magic with simple ingredients, soy and lentils. I usually take the dishes for "take away" and enjoy it at home. Indeed, the food feels home-made, real food. All of the meals are good: Goulash, stuffed pepper, roasted vegetables with soy, and more meals. The hummus is less good in my opinion, but all other dishes are great.
