Cons: Cher, Personnel antipathique

Fresh and original vegan food

Terre Mere was our go to as it was one of the only places open during the holidays but we didn't regret our visit.

At first, we were surprised about the spiritual atmosphere and the overpowering background bird sounds but we really enjoyed our lunch. Both the juice of the day, the couscous and falafel salad were freshly prepared in no time. The open kitchen provides you full insights in the magic happening in the kitchen.
Both dishes were filling (we had the largest portion which was even a bit on the large side for us), original and delicious. They might sound like the typical dish you kind find in all kinds of hipster restaurants these days but they were a very original take on the traditional dishes that resulted in a wholesome healthy meal.

Pros: Very fast service, Freshly prepared, local vegetables in changing , specialities, Take away possible

Cons: Quite pricy, Limited sitting area, The menu is a bit confusing for non-french natives

Good organic vegan lunch

It's a nice place inside and outside, as well as friendly staff.
Not very big, so it is recommended to reserve.

They have great juice, a vegetable lunch that you can take in the form of 'sandwich', 'tartine' or 'salad' and most of the time at least 1 vegan dessert.

Normally everything is vegetarian, now they very well know what vegan is, and assured us that everything we took was made vegan for us.

It is not a cheap place, now organic, local quality food and cheap are maybe not things that go hand in hand.

Overall good experience.

végé moyen

Petit resto accueillant.

Some days ago passed by this adress "by accident" but it had to be that way... excellent fresh made salad, delicious carrot ginger juice and last but not least confidence in my delay of paying the bill... the world seems to be a better place when you meet these experiences... highly recommended !!

Pros: Fresh vegan food, Extremely friendly staff , Good price quality

Cons: Restricted opening hours , Too far from the place where i live

Vegan-friendly

This is one of the few vegetarian (with vegan options) food places in Liège. The food's freshly prepared and made with high quality ingredients. The owner was very friendly and prepared me a special vegan "petite assiette" with a little bit of everything he had that was vegan.

Pros: Open past the typical lunchtime, Located in the heart of the city

Cozy retreat in the city centre

The place looks nice and with the birds chirping (music) you will feel away from the hectic city.

The food looked tasty (and healthy) but it was a bit too expensive for me. The sandwich option was the cheapest (around €7) but the salad bowls were between €13 and €17. So we took the soup with bread, which was tasty and filling. Prices might be high because of use of organic ingredients but not sure.

Pros: Cozy atmosphere, Healthy food

Cons: Bit expensive

Unique in Liège

Terre Mere is a unique venue in Liège.
The menu is simple but changes regularly (every day?): a few recipes to be accomodated in a sandwich, small salad or big salad according to your choice. You can take it away or eat in. I really like the sandwiches: usually a thick bread with a spread (eg: hummus) and a lot of cooked vegetables. Delicious and nothing close to it can be found elsewhere in Liège.

Smart snack which respects nature. Thanks.

Pros: Unique in Liège, Love the sandwiches, Eat-in, take away

Cons: Small place, Closed in the evening, Sandwich not handy to eat in the street

Vegetarian snack with a dietician (!)

Nice snack in the heart of the city of Liege where you are served by a dietician who also prepare your meal with fresh ingredients. Every Wednesday (and Thursday) Raw Food take away also possible (by Raw Food à Liège with the kind permission of the owner)

Pros: Discover new ways to eat, Eat fresh and light, Relax yourself in a zen place

Cons: Small place sometimes it can be noisy

Only Vegetarian restaurant in Liège

Of course I visited this restaurant during my recent trip to Liège, as it is, as far as I know, the only vegetarian restaurant in Liège. The dishes of the day were written on a blackboard and I ordered a sandwich, asking if it was vegan, and the chef spoke English and assured me it was perfectly vegan. I really liked that because it was obvious that he knew what he was talking about and was used to vegans visiting his restaurant!
The restaurant itself is very small, and I took the sandwich with me to have it outside. Unfortunately, though, the meal itself was a bit disappointing: The bread was so thick that it was a bit hard to taste anything of the other components, the layer of sweet potato was so thin I could not taste it at all, and moreover, when I tried eating it, it all fell apart and made a big mess, so I ended up eating the tofu separately.

Pros: Very friendly service, English speaking, Knows about vegan requirements

Cons: Sandwich could be better

Food for soul

Perfectly prepared delicious food, only fresh and season veggies, they are loving what they do, and you feel happy to eat there. Biodynamics wine served, of very good quality.
I recommend this place. Twice
