Vegan menu invented

Peaceful new restaurant in Cabras, Sardinia. Created plant-based menu from normal offerings.

1. Canapé bruschetta with tomato and pickled onion
2. Courgette spaghetti with hazelnuts
3. Creamed local purple potato with truffle
4. fregola pasta with seaweed, apple and aubergine ‘caviar’
5. potato rosti with almonds, tomato sauce and carrots and courgettes
6. lime granita

Pickled onion, courgette spaghetti and creamed potato all good.

Fregola with seaweed and bright with apple was the best dish.

Roast potato with shaved almost was tasty.

Lovely staff, very attentive. Organic wine, delicious.

Could really do with plant protein in a whole menu offering

Pros: Invented vegan menu on night, Beautiful design and decoration, Super lovely and helpful staff

Cons: No plant protein, other than small bits of nuts
