Served chicken by mistake

Unfortunately we had some miscommunications, the food took ages, it was expensive and not very filling in the end.

I ordered for my partner and I: teriyaki bowl vegan, miso bowl vegan, and five skewers, again specified “everything vegan”. We received a teriyaki bowl, dashi bowl (not miso), and the skewers had chicken. The bowls came with soy meat so when the skewers arrived we thought that was soy meat too, my partner took a bite and realised it was actually chicken ☹️ They were apologetic and remade the skewers with only veggies but it took about another half hour.

The bill totalled 195Q with a drink each and they didn’t discount anything for the wrong order. The positives - homemade ginger ale was strong and delicious, and the bowls and veg skewers were tasty - but the meat mixup, small portions and long wait left a bad taste.

Pros: staff were really nice, food was pretty good in the end

Cons: be very clear & cautious when ordering vegan, not very filling for the price
