Family-owned establishment that's part of a small network of vegetarian restaurants; this one opened Jan 2016. Offers breakfast, brunch, dinner, and takeaway. There is a salad bar and a 3-course weekly changing menu options which usually includes at least 1 vegan option. Has smoothies and cold press juices. Busy, pleasant atmosphere and modern decor with plenty of seating. Replaced Restaurant Paradis. Open Mon-Sat 13:00-21:00. Drinks and snacks only from 1-7pm.

Pasamos por aquí en la pandemia y vuelta hoy. Pedimos bravas, croquetas, fideua, lasañuki o algo así y pastel de limón y tostada de santa Teresa. Todo bastante sabroso y rico. La salsa de las bravas sigue siendo 🔝.

Este lugar tiene menú de la semana a ciertas horas y un menú permanente por la noche. Varios platillos deliciosos pero otros, en mi opinión poco balanceados. Cosa de probar. Destacan: la hamburguesa, el postre de chocolate, los nachos. A mi esposo le gusta el sabor de la paella pero a mí me parece que usar cuatro tiras de zanahoria, una alcachofa partida en cuatro y dos o tres trozos de tallo de 🍄🟫 hongo es súper poquito vegetal para lo que cuesta... Pero bueno.

Restaurante vegetariano con muchas opciones veganas. Todo lo que probamos nos gustó mucho, aunque tengo que destacar el cachopo, que me pareció espectacular. El ambiente fue agradable y el personal amable y rápido. Tienen tronas, sillas con alzador y cambiador para bebés. Lo recomiendo al 100%.

Great restaurant with a lot of Vegan options.
Read moreWe had the Jerusalem Hummus and they put all the toppings on the side as we asked for, it was very good, the patatas Bravas (again with the sauce on the side were great well done and the sauce is wonderful (a bit picante).
We also had the Nuggets and the mushroom croquette and they both was good.
for main course we had the Pad Thai and the puff pastry and they were very very good.

Al Teresa Carles tenen un menú i una carta de les que es poden triar múltiples opcions a l'hora de dinar. El lloc és ample, amb un fil musical agradable i les racions dels plats són molt correctes. El 'cachopo' de la carta és molt recomanable, molt bo i complert. El servei és atent. Repetirem segur.😉

Our last visit at this place was somewhat deceptioning. The menu changed, and although it is not as pricy anymore, the quality went somewhat down. It is still a great place, however not as good as it used to be.

Vegetarian Classic in Catalunya - Edit
My husband and I ate at Teresa Carles in Barcelona many years ago, and we were eager to try this, the second location in Lleida, with our children. After a day of hiking up Montserrat to the Monastery and a long drive, we famished vegetarians were thrilled to be at this restaurant offering such delicious dishes and scrumptuous smoothies. We had a reservation for 20:00, though it turned out to be unnecessary as there were plenty of tables. There are oh so many options to choose from on the a la carte menu. The back of the menu had a touching tribute to the founder Teresa's husband Ramon, recently deceased, and an inspiring quote from him: "Without inner peace, outer peace is utterly impossible. Those of us who embrace a plant-based diet are more at peace with ourselves, with the land we inhabit, and with the rest of the living beings we share this marvelous planet with."
Read moreWe chose to have kale chips and plant-based roasted 'chicken' croquettes for our "To Nibble," and my husband was blown away as to the authentic taste of the croquette that reminded him of his childhood. From the "Starters" we ordered the homemade corn nachos. We have eaten nachos at many vegetarian and vegan restaurants in NYC, though these were the *absolute best* due to the vegan cheese and mock chorizo. For "Main Courses" we ordered and shared the paella parellada with plant-based 'calamari' and 'scallops', double smashed plant-based burger with homemade fries, wholegrain spaghetti with pistachio pesto and an entire hunk of mozarella cheese on top, and scrambled eggs with potatoes and plant-based 'bacon' and 'chorizo'. For the last dish, the menu said scrambled eggs, though they actually were fried eggs, so my husband was a bit disappointed. For drinks we ordered the Berlin and Molokai smoothies. We had to take our "Desserts" to go as we were in Lleida to attend an outdoor concert. My kids chose the two texture chocolate cake and I chose the white chocolate cake with rhubarb and strawberry jam and wild berries, which we had the next day and were absolutely delectable. This was a memorable meal in a gem of a vegetarian restaurant on an epic day that we will not soon forget.

After a long drive through France and such awful vegan options it was a delight to be taken here by friends from Lleida. As a long term vegan from the eighties it’s a struggle to make a choice when there’s a big vegan menu. Felt like every dish was a masterpiece!!! It was very busy by 2pm so you should consider booking.

I went there last year and it was great. Nice staff and good food. I tried to go there there yesterday and was met with total rudeness. I rang ahead and a man told me it would open at 8 pm. My mother walked in at 8 and a man told her it opens at 9. So I went in and my Spanish was a bit slow so he barked "Catalan o Espanol vale!" I explained I was told it was opening at 8. He grumpily replied about some problem and that to come back at 8 30. We decided to go else where. Not worth the hassle of being barked at.

El único pero que se le puede poner es el precio, pero pasa a un segundo plano después de degustar sus platos. Cocina vegetariana y vegana muy imaginativa, sabrosa y de calidad. Nos encantó el local de Barcelona y este no tiene nada que envidiarle. Siempre salimos del Teresa Carles encantados. Muy recomendable. El staff muy bueno.

No es barato, ni el staff es demasiado amigable pero es un verdadero paraíso para cualquier vegano desesperado por comer decentemente en este desierto vegano que es Lerida. Docenas de opciones, novedades frecuentes, veganización de platos típicos, postres y todo perfectamente etiquetado ( aunque con letra muyyy chica).

Un restaurante muy acogedor y bonito. El servicio, inmejorable y rápido. La comida está deliciosa y es todo casero, se nota. Ir a un restaurante y poder comer toda o casi toda la carta (casi todo se puede veganizar) es increíble. La kombucha de Flax and Kale esta riquísima.

We were surprised by the variety of vegan food they offer. About 70% is 100% vegan. I had an avocado-mango tartare as a starter, which was great! Very fresh, probably a green mango, which gave it the right sourness, excellent. The main was a melanzane: amazed by the taste and structure of the vega cheese. The desert was heaven! A perfect home-made cocos yoghurt (which normally is not my favourite) topped with spiced cherries and a crumble at the bottom. Really perfect for a very reasonable price. And… the service was very friendly.
