Es war nicht nur super lecker sondern auch ein Erlebnis alles selber zuzubereiten. Personal war sehr freundlich. Karte weist veggi Gericht spearat aus. Sie fragen dann nochmal ob nur kein Fleisch Fisch oder auch keine Milch / Eier.

Very friendly staff, accommodating to dietary restrictions of all kinds. Meals can only be ordered as a combo of okonomiyaki and a second dish. The vegetarian/vegan combo is clearly labeled on the menu, but the staff asked about what we could and couldn't eat to make sure they didn't get anything wrong. Delicious food and great experience overall. You can also add an extra dish of noodles with vegetables and order an ice cream, both included in the menu.

Delicious food, they're happy to cater to dietary requirements and ask what you can/cannot eat. Everyone spoke English well so no confusion.

Unreal food and FUN! - Edit
My husband and I went here tonight after seeing it on happy cow and wow we are glad we did! First make a reservation! The staff are incredible and so friendly! They catered to vegan so easily and the food was so flavourful! This was a highlight in our stay at takayama!

Vegetarian Okonomiyaki - Edit
When you tell the staff you are vegetarian, they ask a few questions to get it right like if egg is alright and if seafood is oke or rather not. Then we got to make our own okonomiyaki and after we got our tofu bbq grill with mushrooms. These are combi meals (they only do combi meals). The mushrooms were amazing! For the very hungry people you get a free portion of noodles (also vegetarian safe) and they serve free icecream which was nice as a dessert. Really good place! Highly recommend. Just make sure to make a reservation in advance (possible on their website) because it was busy on the day we've been and we were happy we booked a table.

If you tell the staff you are vegetarian, they will bring you a specific sauce and will make sure about what you can eat or not (eggs, seafood...). There is only one vegetarian option (okonomiyaki with mushroom tofu/mushroom plate). The portion is quite big, but you can't take the dishes separately. The menu is quite expensive (3 500 yen for the vegetarian menu), but it includes an ice cream for the dessert (and a bowl of noodles, if you are not full yet with the main dishes).

We are here today and they asked us a few questions: are you vegetarian? Is eggs oke? Is seafood oke or rather no seafood? The waiters are really nice and we also got a different sauce and they warned us about the fishchips on the table you can use as toppings. Very good!
