Beautiful food - Edit
We had the tasting menu, all of us absolutely loved every dish. Jerusalem artichoke and chipotle mushroom were square favourites. So nice to have a vegan meal with just delicious veg and no fake meat. ❤️❤️❤️

Disappointed - Edit
After reading such promising reviews I and my partner had high expectations about the food at Tendril. Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review. The restaurant is situated in a pub, so I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic night out because it’s loud and tables are on the way between the bar and a toilet. We had one Discovery Menu and two dishes a la carte. Quickly, we realised that it wasn’t a good choice as the food completely didn’t meet our expectations. It was all nicely presented like on Instagram, however, it lacked flavour, textures didn’t work together and it was expensive. The service wasn’t great. They made a few mistakes. The day after our dinner I realised that I had been charged more than I should have (£76.5 on the receipt, paid £88.48) I brought the issue up in person and also emailed the restaurant, however, after waiting 5 days I still haven’t received any response. I would appreciate it if someone could contact me. I find it upsetting and I wish this could have been resolved quickly as I mentioned to Rishim Sachdeva. Disappointed.

Tendril - Edit
Beautiful tasting menu. I'd have been more inclined to give a 5 star rating if the main wasn't my archenemy, aubergine (eggplant)...the other main option was mushroom (my other unwelcome vegetable, which my dining partner ordered). Nice experience overall. We'd try this place again, particularly when they change up the main entrees.

Outstanding veggie and vegan cuisine - Edit
We've experienced Tendril in three of its "incarnations" - pop-up in Putney, home deliveries during lockdown, and now this latest pop-up in a smart Soho pub, the Sun and 13 Cantons. Most of the food is vegan (check with the chef about what isn't) and we think it's exceptional, both in taste/texture and appearance. We've shared some meals with omnivorous friends and family and all have been delighted too.
Read moreThe current venue is spacious and social distancing seems good - can be busy and hours may vary so probably sensible to book.

Restaurant Food at home - Edit
We had a Tendril deliver this week. The two meals were a welcome respite from cooking during the coronavirus restrictions. The dishes were delicious - grilled cheese sandwich and butternut squash with miso and rice.
Read moreThe simple instructions were easy to follow to reheat. What's very impressive is the care and attention to the food preparation so that the meals taste so good when you're eating at home.
Pros: Price, Quality, Ease
Cons: Limited menu, Only three times a week

Delicious! - Edit
I've just had a Tendril delivery following closure due to government guidelines and it's genuinely the best thing I've spent my money on since lockdown. Delicious, wholesome food prepared with great care and thought.

Divine - Edit
Pop up that changes location every so often. Really beautifully crafted small plates. When we visited there were 4 small plates, 2 of which were dairy based. Nice for a nibble or a proper meal, had the avocado asparagus snack, zucchini fritters small plate and cauliflower and leek and massamam curry as mains. Chef was really friendly too.
