Great place

Staff is extra friendly , the hot sauce is not spicy but makes the food taste good .
The food is excellent for gut health and i wish that such foods can be available everywhere.

Pros: The bread, The portion , The food spiciness

Cons: Extra oily, Not much options

Delicious fresh food & friendly owners

Tried the injera with a little bit of everything from the menu. It was really delicious with a lot of different flavors on one plate. The owners are very friendly and helpfull.
For drinks, they only have canned drinks or coffee and tea. But it is okay if you don't order a drink. If you are in Munich, please do yourself a favor and bring a visit to this lovely small restaurant :).

Pros: Delicious food , Friendly owners

Cons: Only canned drinks

Delicious food, lovely people

First time visiting an Ethiopian restaurant and it did not disappoint. It's a small place with a limited amount of seats, their focus seems to be on take-out.

The owners of this place are such lovely people. They make you feel very welcome, as if you are having dinner at friends or family.

We only had food here, drinks are self-service. There's a fridge with several drinks you can take. We had a plate for two with a little bit of everything. Some of the dishes are slightly spicy. The owner asked if we liked it spicy because he had something special for the ones who do. I like spicy food so I said yes and he came back with a small bowl of what seemed to be like some chili's in oil. I drizzled the entire bowl over my part of the plate and it wasn't too spicy, actually just perfect. All of the dishes were super delicious and the injera very soft and fresh. Portion size was generous.

We loved having dinner here, although it's not the place where you sit down for an hour or two. It's more suitable for a quick meal if you'd ask me.

Would highly recommend visiting Tena Adam for some delicious and affordable Ethiopian food and to support these lovely people.

Pros: Delicious Ethiopian food, Affordable , Lovely owners

Cons: Small seating area , Drinks are self-service from the fridge

Viel zu unbekannt

Ein süßer laden am Sendlinger Tor. Die beiden Besitzer sind total lieb. Das essen ist ziemlich lecker und preis/Leistung ist sehr gut.
Die probierplatte mit allem kann ich empfehlen.

Yeii!

This is mainly a take away (still about 14 seats inside).
Owners are lovely.
Food is tasty.
You can either eat with your hands or with cutlery. A sink to wash your hands is available.
Also open during lunch hours.
I like Ethiopian food a lot, so will definitely be back.

Pros: Friendliness

Tasty & healthy

I ate here twice during my 2 week stay in Munich. A small cafe with about 6 tables, friendly staff and tasty food. Both times I had the beyaynetu which is a platter of assorted dishes for only €15.

Pros: Good food, Great service , Support small vegan business

Lovely owners

The owners are very nice and the food I had was good.
The concept of store is a mix of eating and buying groceries. Currently they have rather standard groceries ( which makes less sense to me since you can get that anywhere) , but they are planning to offer Ethiopian spices soon. Looking forward to it!

Affordable, welcoming and yummy

Pretty small store with a selection of ~6 Ethiopian dishes. They cost about 8.5€ each with or you can get them all on a plate for 12.5€, which are extremely reasonable prices for munich.
My dish was filling and yummy.
The store owner and the cook are very kind. Will definitely visit again!

Pros: Yummy authentic food, Affordable pricing, Nice staff

Very good food with extremely nice owners

The food was delicious. The owner was very nice and offered to bring us more sauce if we ran out. All while being very cheap. We paid 8€ each for food and a drink. Payment with Card is possible.

Pros: Good food, Cheap prices, Friendly people

Cons: No toilet
