Veganized mapo tofu in North Platte

I asked for a veganized version of Mapo Tofu—because the sauce has meat seasoning in it. They kindly made a vegan brown sauce for it. Spicy and delicious, smooth texture. Ample quantity.

Service was slow but friendly. Cleanliness could be improved (fingerprint-covered front door glass, floor was littered and sticky; the curtains leading to the restrooms were grimy).

The vegan sides were miso soup and a simple lettuce salad with ginger dressing. Everything tasted good.

Pros: Willing to veganize, Friendly and understanding waiter, Tasted great

Cons: Apparent cleanliness

Great choice on a drive through north platte

A handful of tofu options as well as veggie rolls and noodle dishes. Some
Chinese dishes as well as Japanese. Ordered pickup because we had our dog but the inside is very nice. Got the sizzling vegetables and tofu and a fried tofu bento box. The bento box tofu was actually agedashi tofu so you can ask for that without bonito and still enjoy it! So much better than the Japanese food I had yesterday in Norfolk. If you’re ever there, don’t bother with Sakura.
