The fried chicken here is delicious and the other food I've tried (mac n cheese, coleslaw, hot wings, popcorn chicken) is also incredible. My go-to is the two piece and mac n cheese. It fills you up so much that you won't want to eat here again for another couple months, but it's always amazing when you're back! Definitely lives up to the hype.

Amazing Chick'n - Edit
I had the Temple Jr. Burger and it was amazing. It is definitely the best chick'n burger I have ever had. There is only outdoor seating and it gets pretty busy at lunch so keep that in mind. I also ordered the Mac N' Cheese which was good but very rich. The bacun they use is so much like bacon I was quite impressed.

only for fried chicken lovers! - Edit
Fast service, very tasty and authentic fried "chicken" - we didn't try the mac n cheese unfortunately, but everything else was very good! Just don't go there expecting anything other than fast food fried chicken! There's a few tables outside but no indoor seating.

Amazing fast vegan food - Edit
Wow this place is the future of fast food. Actual fast vegan mockmeat style food. I come here whenever I travel to London simply because it's an immediate replacement for the current fast food on the market.

Pros: La nourriture, Le service rapide, Les prix
Cons: Endroit trop petit

Had the Temple Burger with bacon, cheese and all the extras. Yummy greasy fast food. Came all the way from Wales to try this whilst visiting family. Well worth the trip.

What can I say 😆 vegan Fried Chicken, vegan chicken wings, vegan mac and cheese, vegan fries, yes I had it all in one sitting. There was four of us The Vegan (Me from the US) and the three meat eaters (my amazing friends from Belgium). I had them eating vegan all day and they loved this place. I recommend this to anyone who just wants good old yummy comfort food.

YES YES YES - Edit
My favourite place. I first discovered them when they had a stand at Brick Lane market and can’t express how happy I was when they opened their own take away shop. I always have to go if I’m in London. The best mac n cheese I’ve tried and their fried seitan is just so moist on the inside, full of flavour and crispy on the outside. I always order temple burger and mac and cheese

Cool concept! - Edit
This may be the most London vegan thing ever. And it's really popular at that! The menu is limited but interesting, with wraps, burgers, chicken in a box, pop corn chicken, brownies, and drinks, as well as the option to make a menu with fries and a drink.
Read moreThe burger is great, and the popcorn chicken is fantastic! I liked the mac n cheese but I've had better (I've heard Club Mexicana's is good at Dinerama). The only two disappointments were the buffalo wings, but that was just personal taste - if you want the experience of crispy fried chicken, don't get it as the sweet sticky sauce makes everything soggy and dominates the taste. It's probably great for people who like this, but I don't - I just mis-ordered.
The other downside is that it's right next to Black Cat Cafe - how is a human meant to make that kind of choice?!?!?!
They are also super nice and have a large selection of condiments. No indoor seating, limited outdoor seating, and long queues to be expected. The prices are reasonable too!
Pros: Taste and concept, Price and service
Cons: Lack of seating

Finally tried this a couple of weeks ago. I had the spicy temple burger and really enjoyed it. It was really filling - pure gluten. I wouldnt be having it too often but im definately going to be back to try a few other bits on the menu. There's a few seats outside or you can take away. I was eating solo so joined a table. Cool vibe to the place too. Really upbeat but chilled. Staff were really friendly and cheerful - it always makes a difference to the experience. And it was cheap as chips for the size of the meal!

Bloody Fantastic! - Edit
One of the best places I have ever been to! The food was absolutely magnificent & I was left with my mouth drooling for more (even though I was ridiculously full!!!) The prices were extremely reasonable for what you get, I guess you could say it’s what you’d pay in any normal kebab shop :) 10/10 will definitely come again 👌

Incredible food and amazing people. My burger was very tasty, with cheese and facon. Fries were really good too. It's a place worth travelling to if you're vegan, I felt emotional when I was there for the first time. Idk why can't all places be like this instead of harming animals for no reason.

If you navigate, do so from adress not directly from HappyCow. Than it wil lead you to the wrong place.
Everyone seems to order the mac n cheese. But I went for the burger. Yummy!!
Pros: nice staff, sitting outside when sunny, great seitan !!!
Cons: bun is a bit dry, small inside space. with bad weather = take away, adress via happy cow seems incorrect

INCREDIBLE - Edit
Absolutely delicious "junk" food, friendly staff, good prices. I recommend this place to every vegan and even non-vegan that I know. Some of my favourite vegan food in London, it never disappoints. Lucky enough there's never been a line every time I've gone there. I would eat there every single day if I could! It deserves even more than 5 stars.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough for a JF fix - Edit
As we know that the Temple closes as soon as they run out of the food for the day we made sure to be there at 12 pm sharp for the opening of it (feeling a bit stupid doing so) but were very surprised that there were already several other people waiting with us as well. We of course ordered alot of stuff (way too much of course) so I can get a taste of everything I have been drooling over in FB posts and was not disappointed. The chikn strips are very good as well as the Mac and Cheese (was really great actually). We also had the dessert that was on offer that day (brownies) which were excellent as well. This place is definitely highly recommendable and the line out the door is no exaggeration! So if you want to make sure you really get a taste of it, make sure to get there early :-) And don´t be put off by the butchers next door (even though the smell of dried fish was a bit offputting when dining outside).
