Completely in love - Edit

Having been craving American-sytle fast food for quite a while, eating at the Temple was pure bliss! I enjoyed their fabulous "Temple Deluxe" with a great soundtrack on in the background, wondering once again why some people still think we need meat on this earth when plants can taste so amazing.

Great vegan junk food - Edit

Tucked away in a mini courtyard, this place is divine. Amazingly unhealthy fried vegan junk food. You can eat in (although there is limited seating) or take away. A must visit.

I asked for the healthy option. If you visit in the next two years they may still be laughing.
Got the spicy fuller and fries. Great value for yeh portion, but something healthiwr for a side would be good.nice outdoor seating on a sunny day with really friendly staff.

Pros: 100%, staff, food

Cons: long term health

great vegan junk food - Edit

The popcorn is amazing! And great buffalo wings! If you want vegan junk- this is the place! It might take a while to get your order, but it’s worth it! They also have a mean brownie!

Pros: junk food, delicious, awesome burger

Cons: a bit slow for a fast food place

Delicious - Edit

What can I say... vegan junk heaven basically. The mac and chees were simply delicious, a bit mustardy, but so creamy and tasty. The popcorn bites had a subtle lemon and pepper taste in my opinion. They were good, not mindblowing, but still addictive. That crunch really makes you keeping eating them! In my opinion, they are best eaten with a sauce. Ranch was a good option.
I definitely want to try more items out of their menu.

Lived up to the hype - Edit

Before I tried Temple of Hackney I was wondering whether they could live up to the hype.  They could. The whole menu is typical junk food that has been veganised. They do it well. The Temple Burger was tasty and very filling.
Service was friendly and efficient. It is actually fast food, my order was ready in minutes. I found it easy to get a seat early on a weekday evening.
Nice location just off Regents Canal (look for the chicken art) and very easy to walk up from Kings Cross and St Pancras.

Pros: All vegan, Great service, Nice location by the canal

It has made me decide to be a vegan!! - Edit

I have been a vegetarian for years. This place has finally persuaded me to go vegan. I absolutely love everything here. The hot wings. The burgers. The Mac and cheese. Oh my god. It's LOVE. Well done.

Place is further away than we thought but worth the walk! Love the wings buffalo is my fav, burgers are also perfect to fill any junk food craving.

Pros: great menu, only tricky part is to decide what to

Cons: busy, queues likely, space at a premium.

The chicken is excellent. The burger not (I think) a replacement in the way the chicken is. Peanut butter cookie also amazing. The lemon pepper mayo was amazing too

Burgers and sweets - Edit

This location is just off Regent’s Canal on the ground floor of an apartment complex. I had the Temple Burger (chickn, cheez, bacn, mayo, pickles, shredded lettuce), £7. My order arrived within a couple of minutes. Good and filling. I also took away a flapjack, a stuffed cookie and a peanut butter mud pie. The mud pie was a bit too soft but of course tasted good. The flapjack has a gooey topping, so it’s a bit messy to transport, but tastes good. The stuffed cookie is great (and sweet). Also available on the sweet side are brownies, cinnabuns and banana bread, £2.50-3.00.

Pros: good burgers

Yummy fried stuff - Edit

The food at Temple is yummy and indulgent. This location has plenty of seating, as opposed to their Hackney location. A great place to take your omni friends as they will love it too. Downside is that I never feel too great after having eaten here. Too much fried stuff I suppose...

Pros: All vegan, Seating

Cons: Unhealthy

Best vegan junk food - Edit

If you’re a vegan visiting London this is a must! Yes, the seating is limited so I’d recommend going on a nice day or getting take out (the fries don’t travel well). Seriously the best vegan burger and one of the best vegan mac n cheeses I’ve ever had! They just started serving breakfast and the breakfast sandwiches are out of this world and only £5 from 8:00-11:00am. (They also serve specialty coffee for and extra £1 and have pastries like croissants and pain au chocolat!)

This is way bigger and better than the hackney branch, lots of seating and a new burger range too. Delicious as always and loads of choice. Love it!

Better than the first! - Edit

Wider menu to include mock beef burgers and snack boxes and desserts. Seating inside but often too crowded to find seats - also benches outside.

Pros: Bigger menu, Bigger building with seats, Tastes AMAZING

Cons: Still not enough seats really, Still expensive , Still hate karma kola

Tasty Vegan Fried Chicken - Edit

This location is much bigger than the other location in Hackney, and there are a few more items on the menu, but if you want your fix of vegan "fried chicken", veggie burgers, and tasty cakes, this is an excellent choice.

Amazing Chick'n - Edit

I had the Temple Spicy Burger and it was great! Not all that spicy in my opinion, but still very delicious. The chick'n is the best I have ever had. The fries were great too. It is usually very busy at lunch. This was my favourite vegan place in London.

Pros: Best Chick'n ever

Never disappoints, but odd location - Edit

So happy to see this company expand to an eat in place! Their menu has grown a lot from seeing them first time at VegFest. I tried the BBQ wings and Mac n Cheese, absolutely delicious! My bf had his usual popcorn chick'n, which'll blow KFC out of business and a new Bacon burger. Super yummy!
Only concern is the location, it's very unusual, it's a 15 min walk from Camden Town underground or 10 min walk from Kings Cross station. You have to follow the river and it's under an apartment complex, so it can be easily missed. There's also not much seating, so you may have to share with other people, which is fine, as we got to make new friends! But I understand that may not be suitable for everyone.

Pros: Lots of variety , Delicious, Affordable

Cons: Can be hard to find

mixed feelings - Edit

I really like the creativity...the tastes and textures are great! The wings were lovely and so was the cheese burger.

On this occasion the temple hot was so greasy that there was oil dripping off it and I could not eat it all (you can see it in the pic I've uploaded) Perfect maybe when you are drunk but not when sober.

But I won't hold it against them. I'll try it again. Looking forward to trying the popcorn bites.

Pros: affordable. creative. tasty

great to be able to finally enjoy Temple of seitan indoors! - Edit

Excellent food, and now you can enjoy it indoors!

Recommend the pop corn bites, spicy temple burger and mac and cheese. I tried the temple deluxe burger but preferred the classic spicy temple burger.

Only downside is that it is a bit of a mission to get to (between mornington cresent, camden road and kings cross station). About 10-15 mins walk from either of the about stations.
