Nice menu - Edit
Good menu, a bit over priced, staff told me today is last day in this building and their menu will be moving to another non vegan restaurant down the road, which is a shame

Mac N Cheese - Edit
Went to for dinner with a friend, and loved the variety of the menu from healthy salads to far more indulgent food. I had the maccaroni cheese which was super creamy and delicious. Good wine menu also.

Also their cacao milkshake is brilliant. Offer healthy options as well but I always end up going for a indulgent hot dog😄

Very average food - Edit
Luckily after reading comments here I didn’t have much expectations. It looks too posh for me really but it’s just as the area is. I’m definitely not a west Londoner.
Read moreThe food was not bad, far away from good. Had the hangover muffin. It’s just someone elses sausages(moving mountain) bun from bakery and hash browns? I hope at least guac and slaw were made at the shop.
As a dessert toffee pudding. Good but £6 for a small slice of something I could easily make home was bit too much again.
The service was nice. It looks cosy on a grey day.
I’m glad I just happened to be in the area and just poped in and didn’t for example travel to try it.
Wouldn’t tell my friends...

Really lovely place! - Edit
Excellent meal. Restaurant lovely.. and great vibe! Baked Camembert was my favourite!! Wouldn’t have the “fish pie” again as not enough sauce in it but the food was good enough to know other dishes would of been perfect. Even gave me a complimentary s’mores donut for my birthday!

Overrated - Edit
This place is expensive for what you get and the food is a bit overrated - nothing special.
Read moreThe roast dinner was nice but you get tiny amounts of veg - the “cauliflower cheese” was one single tiny floret.
The burger was also nothing special.
The bbq jackfruit bites were really nice - I would get these again.
Pros: All vegan , Nice interior , Friendly staff
Cons: Expensive , Overrated

Sooo good I can’t wait to go back! - Edit
This place was amazing start to finish. Really good vegan dishes! My two non vegan friends loved it! I had the moving mountains burger with Mac and cheese and they had a roast which for a non vegan she was super shocked! Cannot wait to return and try everything else!

Not as great as expected - Edit
I guess I had quite high expectations from the good reviews I had seen but I was a little underwhelmed.
Read moreWe sat in the glass conservatory at the front which was lovely and bright. I was glad not to be sitting further back as the music was quite loud and so everyones voices were increasing to compete (am I just getting old?!).
Nice choice of drinks including cocktails and mocktails and quite a varied food menu. We shared the baked camembert which was quite nice but the cheese had no real flavour (I know camembert doesn't traditionally have a strong flavour but this was just warm and creamy). I followed that with the 'fish' pie. They were out of the broccoli that came with the pie so I asked to sub that with a side salad (rather than the kale which was suggested) which they were happy to do. Unfortunately the salad was over dressed and the vinegar distracted from the more subtle flavours of the pie. So overall I felt the food was ok but not great.
Service was also just ok - the waiting staff swapped around quite a bit during our meal and it took an age to get the bill at the end.
Pros: Nice drinks menu, Varied food menu, Nice interior
Cons: Noisy, Slightly pricy

Nice interior and great food - Edit
We came to that place on a Saturday evening. I really like the interior of the restaurant, staff was very friendly. We were a group of three and ordered one starter for sharing. It was bread with three different kinds of spread and they were all delicious. Everyone was happy with their mains as well. Not too expensive either. I‘d like to come back!

Trendy cafe with good food - Edit
the place is very cosy and offers plenty of choice for food and beverages. We went there to try the full English breakfast and it was very very good!
Read moreWe especially loved the ackee "scrambled eggs" and the sausages which actually tasted a bit too much like pork!

Doesn’t even deserve two stars - Edit
I was so happy to find out a new vegan place has opened near my house to only go there and be incredibly disappointment. My friend and I went and literally said to ourselves that we are never going back.
Read moreStarters...arancini ball. My friend cut it open in half and first thing we noticed was a hair inside...they prepared a fresh one for us.
The chicken “nuggets” the crispy coating was falling apart from the main “meaty” bits. Nothing held together
My main... fish and chips. Really really dried almost as if it was over cooked.
My friend’s main - raw lasagna was a disaster. Layers of thin vegetables with almost no sauce and just lots of nutritional yeast sprinkled over... it was disgusting. Actually couldn’t eat it. We were shocked.
When we asked for the bill, with almost full plates of food the waiter just took our plates away without even asking why we have barely touched the food.. very strange.
Anyways, this place is way too hyped up. The food was so bad. And as I said before not a place I’d go back to ever again. Giving a really bad name to vegan food. If a non vegan went there to try vegan food, they’d be put off forever. What a shame
Pros: Cute decor, Dog friendly
Cons: Tasteless food , Really bad food, Rude/ not caring staff

So goood!!!!! - Edit
We popped in on Sunday during our stay in London. Such a great place with a lot of options too! It was really busy so I’d recommend you book in advanced but they were happy to have us sit in the bar area which was totally fine with us!! The food was actually amazing! I had my first red velvet latte - IN LOVE!! They also had some amazing treats to takeaway!

My absolutely favourite vegan restaurant - Edit
Tell Your Friends is my absolute favourite vegan restaurant. It is situated in such a lovely part of London, overlooking the very pretty Eel Brook Common.
Read moreThe entire place is vegan from kitchen to bar meaning ordering is totally stress-free. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable and the clientele are a little less ‘trendy’ than one would expect from a vegan place, demonstrating just how mainstream veganism has become.
The food is always beautifully presented, tasty and comforting. I’d recommend the jackfruit bites and the mac & cheese if pushed but typically I order all the starters to share with my dinner companion.

Terrible food - Edit
Having tried to come a few times but being told it was fully booked I had high expectations. I was really disappointed in the food and can’t understand why this place is always busy. It’s located in the beautiful Parsons Green, that’s particularly pretty in the spring and summer, perhaps that has something to do with it.
Read moreThe food was disgusting, dry and bland. My mum had the gnocchi which was tasteless and greasy, she couldn’t finish it. My non-vegan mate had the burger and liked the @movingmountains patty (which TYF can’t really take credit for), her fries were cold and undercooked! I had the winter Buddha bowl the avo 🥑 was under-ripe (rock hard), the tofu I was served is (in my opinion) the reason omni’s think tofu is tasteless, the sweet potato was over cooked and the bowl as a whole was bland and cold - it kinda reminded me of school food.
Overall really disappointing experience!
On the plus side we were allowed to bring our dog and noticed a few other guests had also. The waitresses were all absolutely lovely although the service was slow (so I don’t know if the cold food was due to the staff or kitchen) Our waitress kindly (unprompted) brought a water bowl for our dog, so gets brownie points for that! However, I won’t be going back and don’t recommend it.
In short: I think this is the kind of joint that make omnis incorrectly dismiss vegan food as tasteless and bland. Two ⭐️’s because the staff were lovely, it allows dogs and is in a dog location. Zero for food (interior design and cost)
Pros: Lovely staff, Allows dogs , Good location
Cons: Terrible food, Unwelcoming interior and cold, Pricey, for what it is. Slow service

Small plates aren't lying - Edit
The arancini were delicious but the small plates really are small and quite expensive as a result. The mains we had were ok but would have rather ordered two or three aranincis. Great wine list and easy to book (though it seemed to suggest the place was rammed when it wasn't).

Fantastic Plant Based food! - Edit
This is a restaurant that knows how to make vegetables taste fantastic! The ideas are quite innovative, rather than the ‘usual’ options that you would find on other vegan menus. I particularly enjoy their ‘chicken bites’ made from real jackfruit - which is refreshing to see, where as other restaurants try and make their entire menu from flavouring & processing soy in different ways.
Read moreTheir ‘Tamari miso smoked mushrooms’ was fresh, delicious and they had clearly thought deeply about the type of mushroom to use and how to cut it, everything from the texture to the seasoning was excellent!
I live in Fulham and every time I walk past Tell Your Friends it seems to be getting busier & busier! I suggest you book ahead or be happy to eat at the bar whilst you wait for a table to be free.
Pros: Great decor & Vibe, Fantastic food!

Good Burgers - Edit
It's a six minute walk from Parsons Green tube. We tried the burgers, which were good and came with chips. Everything on the menu looked good. It was nice inside, with a nice bar area (although it was fairly quiet for a Friday evening).
