Tea kettle - Edit
A little hole in the wall
Read moreBut so impressed with their menu
One of the few places in town that actually labels everything on their menus that are vegan, including sauces
Their veggie ramen is excellent with tofu, tempeh, broccoli, mushrooms, vegan potstickers and noodles
Recommend highly
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Relatively affordable

the options are very good - Edit
For the area there is a good selections of options and all of them have been stellar. The spring rolls and the vegan pot stickers are must haves. The peanut sauce is my favorite. *word to the wise, currys usually have fish sauce and I recommend calling in your order a head of time.

Delicious! Open Sep 2020 - Edit
So many vegan options it was great! Vegan dumplings, pot stickers, ramen, massaman curry, spring rolls.... we were spoilt for choice! It wasn’t obvious from outside that it was open (sadly a lot of the other restaurants in the building have for rent signs up) but it was! Make your way through to the back of the building. Highly recommend!

Delicious Food, Could be Cleaner - Edit
We tried the Veggie Salad Roll, Veggie Ramen, and a Custom Bowl, and ate in an outside patio area. The food was delicious. The tables were a little dirty though, and the dishes were a little small for the price. Delicious food made up for the negatives.

Best meal during our holiday. - Edit
We stumbled across the Tea Kettle towards the end of our holiday in Whitefish and wish we'd found it earlier. Menu was good and varied and all vegan and vegetarian meals were clearly marked and the owner and his assistant were both knowledgeable and very kind. This was the best meal we all had in Whitefish, it was so good that the kids begged us to take them back the next day for lunch!!

Vegan Aware and Tasty - Edit
I discovered Tea Kettle Asian Kitchen while walking through the Stumpdown marketplace-which also houses a juice bar and a vegetarian friendly bistro called Zucca-and was blown away by the dishes. They clearly indicate all vegan dishes, sides, and sauces, while also purchasing nearly 100% organic ingredients. While they may not be a fully fledged vegan kitchen, the owner and chef seem very conscious of their customers and ingredients and will gladly explain or discuss all of their options: they make everything to order. The interior has a quant, surprisingly quiet, yet open vibe with a center placed fireplace. The ‘veggie’ ramen is vegan and fledged fully with flavor, the vegan dumplings are well seasoned, and the lotus bowl could easily feed two!

A small cute Asian fusion restaurant - Edit
Pot stickers were great. Anything can be made vegan. We had curry with tofu and noodles with veggies and tofu. As good as any vegan restaurants in big cities. Wanted to give it five stars.

Not great - Edit
The vegan potstickers were the best thing we ordered. The noodles in the bowl and the ramen had a strange old taste about them. Ordered ramen soup and it came with no broth. There are lots of vegan options but the quality was low.

We ate here two nights in a row, as Whitefish can be tough to find vegan dinner fare. The first night the owner was by himself, cooking, serving, taking orders and cleaning up and we still got our food quickly with a smile. Lots of vegan options and custom buildable noodle or rice bowls.

Great Food, Friendly Service - Edit
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find such wonderful tasting food in Montana. We were on vacation for a week and knew we had to rent a place so we could cook most of our food, due to the slim choices in vegan restaurants in the area. We tried this place the beginning of the week and ate there 2 more times before we left. We could have eaten there everyday, it was that good! The staff was very friendly and the cook/owner was very helpful in pointing out all the vegan options. We had the Thai Peanut Wrap with tofu, which was a huge portion and the flavors were amazing!!! We also had the Hot Hippie with Tofu, and again nice portion and loved the flavors and different textures. On our last visit, we went to the Community Market in Columbia Falls to their food truck and had the soba noodles and tried some different sauces, all were very good. We liked that there was many combinations of dishes you could make, and loved that you had many choices in sauces that were very flavorful. Ian (the cook/owner) has a great talent of putting together unique flavors. We thought the prices were very good for the portion sizes you got. My husband and I would highly recommend this place if you are even close to the area. We would rate it 5 stars :)

The veggie salad rolls are wonderful! They also have build your own custom bowls with tempeh bacon and organic tofu with vegan sauces. The hot hippie is also a fantastic vegan option.

Good vegan food in a meat-eating town - Edit
We were so happy to find a veg-friendly place in Whitefish! We had soba noodles with organic tempeh and tofu and a couple of their many vegan sauce choices and it was all great. The salad rolls and peanut sauce were fabulous. The chef was super-friendly and pointed out all the vegan options for us - definitely give this place a try and support a restaurant with good values out here in the wilderness.
