cozy place, good food - Edit
They have more drinks and teas than food, but the Tiganitsa is one of my favourite things to eat. They have a great lunch menu. Very friendly place. Try and catch a jazz concert there if you can.

Great tea house vibe - Edit
If one regards Tea House as a tea house (and not a restaurant), it earns full marks for having a good selection of teas served in a convivial atmosphere with very friendly and helpful service. It’s a great place for conversation with friends or some writing/reading/work time alone.

More of a tea house with a few food options, but Yum! - Edit
This was a lovely spot on a rainy Sofia day. They have a ton of tea to chose from, including Yogi teas, which was a nice comfort from home while traveling.
Read moreThe woman working there was so lovely and helpful. The menu changes occasionally, so the website isn't always accurate, but vegan and gluten free options are clearly marked and there are plenty of them. We had the tapas with spreads, the lemon basmati rice with zucchini and tofu, and the couscous with veggies and all was fantastic. Would def recommend

Cozy little tea house - Edit
Really liked the atmosphere here; super cozy, comfortable and warm, with a nice variety of portraits from Vietnam and other South East Asian countries on the walls and a bookcase filled with an interesting selection of books, both in Bulgarian and English. I didn't have a meal there, but did try one of the Yogi teas with a slice of vegan chocolate cake and it was divine! Seems like a great place to hang out with friends or spend all day reading, would love to go back if I was in Sofia.

Honey Is NOT Vegan - Edit
Have never been there, however, saw on the menu that they consider honey to be vegan. The place is vegetarian, so it is "ok" to use honey in the menu. However, it should not be indicated as vegan as honey is an ANIMAL PRODUCT.
