My friends hit up a street taco stand, so I headed up the street and got my own vegan tacos!

They have paninis, tacos, gringas, bowls, quesadillas and some small breakfast items and desserts.
I had 3 tacos - Milenesa, Pastor and Alambre, all with cheese. The Milanese was the standout. Great taste and texture! The other two were good but needed some of the salsa on the side to kick up the flavour.
Reasonable prices except for the mineral water which ended up being over CAD$5 for the bottle!
I would go back and try some other menu items and get another Milanesa taco.

My husband and I ordered an iced latte with almond milk, a steak and cheese sandwich, and a chimichurri steak panini with cheese. The latte was one of the best lattes I've had! The steak and cheese sandwich was decent, good bread but not the most flavorful and I had to add a lot of the chile verde on it to make it taste better. Same with the panini, excellent bread and the cheese was nice and creamy but not an insane amount of flavor overall. The sandwich came with a side salad and dressing which was honestly my favorite part of the meal, so I definitely recommend their salad! Overall a decent meal and a cute little shop! Nice that its 100% vegan as well and the staff was very friendly!

Not only the food was excellent but the service was very friendly and they took the time to explain everything. Overall a great experience… even my non vegan friend who is very difficult ate his entire meal . The dessert was also awesome.

I liked the Milanesa but honestly the experience just kinda fell flat for me. I got the wow taco as well and it was pretty good but i felt like there was too much going on for me to fully enjoy it. The location is nice though.

Cute restaurant in Zona Romantica. Just over the bridge in old town. Nice staff. Delucious food. Come for drink and treat or a wonderful meal. 12:30 to 9 pm. Closed Sundays.

Read moreI read some recent reviews that said their food lacked flavor. Mine was quite the opposite. I had amazing veggie tacos. The salsa was just the right spice. I added on the vegan cheese. The vegan cheese is made in Mexico City and is potato base. All of the flavors were incredible. Maybe it just depends on what you get. Maybe the seitan is not very flavorful, but my veggie tacos were incredible.

Previous reviews were uneven but I decided to give it a try. I regretted it. this was the only bad meal I’ve had in the last week I’ve been in Mexico. The food was bland and the soy meat was rubbery. I got the Mexican bowl and it was basically quinoa, like 1/8 cup of beans, and a bunch of unseasoned bell pepper strips. My companion got tacos and they also sucked. Bumped to two stars simply for being a vegan spot but seriously a pass for me.

I wouldn’t rate it as top anymore. The tacos are okay but they were dry and lacked flavour. I went there to give it a chance — although it’s good enough if there are no other options, I wouldn’t come back since there are other great vegan/vegetarians restaurants nearby.

Ordered 1 of each of the 6 tacos. I do recommend getting them with cheese because the flavor is lacking. Very friendly service and no line, however. Breakfast food looks better.

I was working out of the co-working space up the street and popped in for lunch. Tons of options. I got the Buddha bowl. The staff were super sweet but a bit shaky on what was GF or not. They said everything was GF but then recommended a seitan dish…but either way, was great food. Took it to go and ate from coworking space.

Best vegan food in PV - Edit
So glad we didn’t pass up this place. Great prices and everything was bursting with flavor. Having read so many comments about how great their cheese is, I got a little corn tortilla quesadilla which doesn’t sound too exciting but it was delicious. The Wow taco with cheese was also wonderful. Tiny little place with just 2 guys working and several tables. I sort of wish we’d had 1 more day in PV to eat there again. If you’re vegan, don’t miss it!
