Im sure Stella makes great food, but sadly the place have moved out of Italy and we went there just to be disappointed. Warning there is no restaurant there as of July 2024

Fantastic experience with amazing food! - Edit
We loved so much about our visit! Being in Antonella’s kitchen, which overlooks beautiful Lago di Como, was just the beginning of our evening. Antonella made us feel right at home while she cooked and served a fabulous 4-course meal. From start to finish, the food was a beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Vegan or not, If you are visiting the area, we recommend La Stella Vegan!

Great vibe by the lake - Edit
We booked only 1 h in advance but the host said it was ok. She asked us to send a message with the orders but didn’t see it so she didn’t prepare in advance. Yet she still managed to give us the food pretty quickly. Because of short notice we were limited to the take away menu so we had homemade pasta, frittata and nuggets - all very tasty but small portions, not enough for dinner. Also one star less for packaging, all was in single use Aluminium containers and with plastic forks and glasses. The lady is super nice but the portions should be bigger and served more sustainably for a perfect experience.

All you had to do was ask if you had any doubts 😉 I've been a Vegan for 30 years, let alone take care of the earth too! 💚

Best vegan food I’ve had in Italy - Edit
Amazing food amazing service, bought her cook book and so excited to bring it home. You sit on her dining table overlooking Lake Como and are served the freshest, best pasta and desert. Just left and already want to go back. Also best Spritz I’ve had here too

This is not a restaurant as you may know it, it's more like sitting in the living room/kitchen of Stella and talking to her while she's preparing the food and serving it. Everything was very tasty and Stella is a very charming person.

Amazing host and such good food. Mind is blown - Edit
The menu was extensive, the host is very sweet and has the best recommendations, home made food and the view is spectacular. She even gives you a lil beach Mat and you can have the most scenic, non crowded chill time with an amazing meal. Paid parking is also easily accessible by the street.

We had a very delisious 4 course meal and have been warmly welcomed. It's really worth a visit if you are around. I called around midday to get a table for the afternoon and it was no problem. In Summer it may be more difficult to get a table.

È la seconda volta che torniamo a mangiare da Antonella. È una gentilissima padrona di casa e il suo Home Restaurant in riva al lago ha una vista impagabile! Abbiamo gustato un menù 100% Vegan, leccandoci i baffi, davvero brava anche a spiegare le portate. Prezzi onestissimi, vista la location e la qualità. La prenotazione è obbligatoria, accetta solo contanti.

Antonella has been vegan since 1992, she has worked all over the world. Normally you need to make a reservation, but she let us in without one. Everything was ok, but not great, and for each small tiramisu she charged 7€, same as for the small portion of pasta. We ended up paying 35€ for a small plate of pasta and a dessert with chocolate cookies and some cream. She even charged us 2€ for tap water. The couple before us payed 75€...

Hi, you had 80gr pasta each, with homemade vegetable pesto and vegan grated cheese! The tiramisu is made with a vegan Mascarpone by Mozzarisella a Made in Italy Company, plus to garnish vegan whipped cream, the cookies are Chocolate Digestive, normally, in a restaurant in Italy, you pay 7€ any normal dessert. Then, excuse me, how do you know that the couple before you paid 75€? And even if they did, I have complete menus from appetizer to dessert from 30/40/50€ each and with wine, in 2, you can reach that amount, so I don't understand this note of yours. I point out that my water is DEPURATED not tap water, and I remind you that I did the kindness of seating you even without a reservation and that is not a given. In conclusion you paid 35€ for: 2 first courses, 2 tiramisu, 1 coffee 1 75ml water and 2 place settings! Greetings

We had a four course meal and each course was a delight in itself. What a treat! And everything was freshly cooked by the wonderful cook. So if you are looking for a good vegan meal this is the place to go. Don’t forget to make a reservation in advance.

Had the Rustical and Mediterranean menu - it was exceptionally tasty. On top the experience was fun sitting in Antonellas kitchen / living room and Gavin lunch with other lovely people. Can’t recommend it more, reservation is required!

Read more- Location 10. L home restaurant è proprio sulla spiaggia bianca di Lernia. Vista che riempie gli occhi ed il cuore. La chef offre teli per stendersi sulla spiaggia. Atmosfera casalinga ma servizio da ristorante;
- Servizio 8. La chef fa tutto, cucina e serve. Presentazione e spiegazione dei piatti super
- Menu 10. Si può scegliere tra 3 diversi menu e non è scontato considerato anche il posto in cui ci troviamo. Trovare tutto vegano ed anche con tanta scelta...beh da 10 e lode.
- Prezzo 10. Materie prime ottime, menu completi e prezzi gustosi. Si va dai 30 ai 50 euro a seconda del menu
