Good option if you miss proteins - Edit
Happy to find a place where I can eat vegan and find some proteins! Traditional albanian food is mostly vegetables and salad and this place offer as well bean soup.
Read moreThey have a vegan plate for 2 to try all the traditional naturally-vegan food. Sad that it's not available for one person.
The soup was very nice, not the best japrak (wine leaves stuffed with rice) I had in the country though.
The menu clearly specify vegetarian dishes but not the vegan ones.
The prices are higher than in other places in town or in the country, don't think it worth it.

Tagliere vegano di pietanze tipiche veramente ottimo, abbiamo aggiunto anche una squisita insalata Te Fisi, condita benissimo e con ingredienti di qualità. Consigliato

Albanian food! - Edit
We tried the Vegan combination meal here that came with a little bit of all the traditional Albanian foods such as stuffed peppers, potatoes, aubergine and beans.
Read moreThe prices are a little more than other places but most combination meals are, 800 lek (€8).
The place has a fancy feeling with fine dining style music as it's a Grill restaurant, I felt a little out of place, but I was worth it for the good meal!

Not bad vegan plate! - Edit
Fresh salads with more than just lettuce, cucumber and tomato. Vegan platter was good, based around grilled veg as most vegan dishes in the Balkans are.

Dolmeh not vegan 🥴 - Edit
Ordered the "Vegan combination" which was clearly marked on the menu, but even my non-vegan partner confirmed the dolmeh had minced meat in it😓 The rest of the food was meh, but beggars can't be choosers in this city with limited options😒

Decent food - Edit
Staff was friendly and spoke English.
Read moreMenu is available in Albanian and English, you just gotta find the English one at the back.
Vegan options are clearly labeled.
I had a mixed salad and Imam Bajalldi, which is stuffed eggplant. The mixed salad was fair, the Imam Bajalldi dish tasted really well though it wasn't a lot (though not terribly small given the low prices).
As opposed to the tags here, they did accept credit card. They also offered to accept payment in Euro or USD, besides the Albanian lek.

Nice place to eat at - Edit
Absolutely loved the plant-based food that was served. Think it says a lot about a place and how future proof they are when they have multiple vegan options on the menu. Great inititative that has to be mentioned and applauded, well done! Very friendly staff as well. They were really kind to us. Would highly recommend to visit the place when in the city. You won’t be left disappointed, that much is for sure!

Menu says what's vegan! - Edit
Thank goodness for this place. I ate there twice and was very happy with the food and the clarity the menu provides as to what's veg and what's vegan. The server I got the second time was really super sweet. Would definitely go again if fate takes me back to Shkodër.
