Favorite Viet place in CT - Edit
Update: Tom and Dina retired back in 2023 so this restaurant is under new management. Food is slightly different. Summer rolls are mostly stuffed with lettuce now, and the papaya salad is lacking in acidity, sweetness, and heat. Pho was still great but didn't have the vegan meat. Haven't tried the updated banh mi. Still offer a great bang for your buck.

I've been a loyal customer since they opened up their first location at The Dock.
Thomas and Dina are so incredibly sweet and friendly, and really welcome you with open arms.
They have a ton of vegetarian options that can easily be made vegan. Their veggie pho is my favorite in CT. They've recently added plant-based meat (no idea the brand/never seen it before) to their pho which is a welcome addition. The tofu banh mi is delicious as well.
The vegetarian summer rolls are a MUST, I get them every visit. Green papaya salad is good too. My dad is a huge fan of their fried rice.
Ask for bubble tea with soy milk - they're all delicious but honeydew is my favorite.
The only downside is that the service is very slow, but it's worth the wait. The food here is so reasonably priced and hasn't inflated like everywhere else.

good food, good portions - Edit
I got the tofu fried rice and it was good! It was definitely dry but they gave a good portion and lots of tofu so that made up for it. The spring rolls ver excellent!

OMG!! - Edit
We told them that we were referred by the Happy Cow family. They put out the red carpet and presented us with so many options. And suggestions on how to modify certain dishes. Without asking they said that they cook vegan dishes in separate very clean pots and do not mix anything that is fried

Delicious vegan options. Slow service - waited an hour for our check. No one else in restaurant.

Pho-yeah! - Edit
OK. here's the deal. You can order great ZVieat style sandwiches and other things, but the draw here is the Pho!! The noodles are perfect and the ingredients are always fresh and ddeliscious. All of the broths are great and home made. Veggie or meat based, thy're great. Cheap and clean. Bubble teas are also good!
