Delicious home cooked food.

I stomped up many steps to reach this little taverna on a day trip from Rhodes - but it was worth the sweating!
Zoe is a really friendly host and the food was all clearly home made and cooked with love. Zoe recommender things on the menu that were vegan and I had the Symi salad which was fresh and delicious, Houmus and bread. All were tasty and really lovely. Even had complementary cake afterwards. I highly recommend this taverna.

Pros: The delicious food., Zoe is so friendly. , The views.

Cons: It’s a steep walk up!

Very friendly

We walked from Symi por to the beach in Pedi, and stopped here on the way back. Lunch with a great view and a beautiful terrace. Staff was helpful and made sure that they were giving us the right thing (no cheese? no fish?...). I'd recommend their Symi salad (lentil salad) and some Mezze.

Hilltop vegan wonders

A beautiful lunch in Horio, the hilltop village above Gialos Harbour on Sými. Zoe cooks wonderful local homemade food and is incredibly accommodating. Mention vegan and Zoe will give you all the options. 5* worthy.

Pros: Super accommodating host, Wonderful views and options

Cons: None

Best meal in Greece!

Zoe is the loveliest woman and took good care of us! I said that I was vegan and when she showed me all the vegetarian options, I specified no milk and eggs and she was so helpful and very knowledgeable of each dish, checking with the chef to make sure. I had gigantes and fried chickpeas for my main, with hummus to start and complementary halva to finish that was also vegan! She also gave us sweets after and you really felt like you were visiting family, with lovely home cooked food and a kiss on the cheek at the end. Very reasonable also with 3 courses for two people, 1 litre of wine and 3 litres of water for 50 Euros. So worth the walk up from the harbour! The views are to die for and it is lovely to see the local town away from the tourist bits by the water.

Pros: Beautiful fresh food, Lovely service, Incredible views

Very disappointing

The Zoh has a very limited menu and virtually no v*gan dishes. We had a couple of adapted dishes, but the portions were small and pricey for what they were.

Pros: View from balcony

Cons: Limited v*gan dishes, Pricey
