Great place by the sea - Edit
We found this place through HappyCow as we were in the area visiting the Agia Marina Donkey Sanctuary and the Minoan Palace of Phaistos. It’s right by the sea in Kalamaki, and it’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer as the sea looked amazing.

We’d been eating quite a lot of traditional Greek food, so we went for the spaghetti Napolitana, spaghetti with vegetables, bread and two draft lagers. Everything was great. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and a welcoming crowd. Recommended.

The taverna is tucked away so it’s not easy for people to find. This is a bonus, as it keeps the crowds away.

They have separate vegan menu with lots of options. I had aubergine tomato dish and dolmadakia. They were both delicious! Nice view from the restaurant was a cherry on top.
