Purity in Accra, Ghana - Edit
Ok, if you are craving for a truly immersive vegan experience in Ghana with healthy, tasty foods then make sure to visit Tatale Vegan Restaurant in Osu Accra, the business district of the city. My friends came down from Kumasi to spend time together while enjoying Vegan FuFu. Life is amazing!

My favourite place for vegan food in Accra. Sells oatly, nutritional yeast and some other vegan products at their restaurant.

Fresh, flavourful food, at a reasonable price - Edit
Service is slow but the food is very good. As long as you're not in a hurry, this is a great spot for a variety of locally-inspired vegan dishes.

Nah 👎🏼 - Edit
This place has a very local feel to it. If that’s what you’re looking for then fine.
Read moreWe went when it first opened after hearing that the owner owns his own vegan restaurant in London. We were super excited, but this is definitely no fine dining restaurant! We were disappointed. Food was very average… not impressive enough to go back. To be fair, it looked like they were trying but they have far to go to reach UK standards.
Definitely not my cup of tea.
Pros: Fully vegan

Nettes kleines Restaurant in guter Lage - Edit
Gute aber nicht zu große Auswahl an Gerichten. Die könnten ein klein wenig mehr gewürzt sein.

Absolutely amazing - Edit
Only managed to get delivery on this ocassion but it was fantastic! So delicious! Very well packed as well. I ordered chickpea & vegetable curry with brown rice, asked to get some tofu on a side and oh wow! It was so well flavoured. I also tried tatale. Everything was just wonderful, mouthwatering and full of flavours. Cannot wait to visit the restaurant in person.

I was disappointed - Edit
My husband and I went to Ghana for my birthday in July 2021 and I was unable to find great vegan food in Ghana so I decided to try happy cow to see what was available. I was not impressed and actually deeply disappointed with the food and lack of taste. We ordered the apple crumb for dessert and that was the final disappointment. We did enjoy the atmosphere though but this isn't a place I would suggest for soul food vegans.

Best Food in Ghana - Edit
We had the best food of our stay so far at Tatale! Within a few days in Accra we went twice to try as many food options as possible. So many fresh, delicious options and a great mixture of local dishes and international choices.

Best Vegan Spot in Osu - Edit
One of the few Vegan restaurants in Osu. Tried many of the meals on the menu and loved most of them. Favorites were the Kenabs, Red Red, and the Pinapple crumble. #Veganuary

Fantastic!! - Edit
Deeeelicious and healthy food. Definitely recommend the kebabs for a starter. My gf called it the “best tofu I’ve had in my life”. Our mains of Ben’s Egusi and the Abolo with greens were also fantastic.

Vegans must visit and support - Edit
Great food, nice people!
Read moreWonderful experience over all.
I do not like or ever eat okra, but the okra in the Palm Nut Soup with FuFu was outstanding. RedRed was delicious with plantains, they have the best Fried Yam and the Pepper Sauce is amazing.
Went back and tried new menu items, the Dal was crazy delicious, better than and Dal I had in India. Thier Koseyi is really good with the Pepper Sauce. We tried the 100ghs (16.65usd) course meal for two, everything was great.
I people there are so nice, we had the same host talking our order both time, he is so nice and charming.

Out of this world - Edit
First time in Accra and I couldn’t ask for a better welcome than Tatale! Bring your non vegan friends because this food will make you wanna show off! Authentic and out of this world delicious. Fufu Almond Butter Soup is to die for. The host Joshua is attentive, knowledgeable and just a beautiful soul. Can’t wait for the next time.

Top quality and taste! - Edit
I'm a big fan of Ben's. Whether in London or in Accra, the food is of highest quality and I enjoy the veganized African dishes. The service is highly professional. The only con is that the prices in Tatale are beyond the average Ghanaian's affordability. Coconut water, which is approx. 2cedis, costs 15cedis here. Thus, delicious vegan food cannot be afforded by the masses. I'm looking forward to visiting Tatale on my next trip to Accra!
