I don’t know what happened to the old place but it has a completely different menu. There are still vegan smoothie bowls but nothing for lunch or dinner. The staff also didn’t know what vegan means and just pointed out the vegetarian dishes but except for one they all contained dairy or egg. We did not eat there in the end.

Read moreAfter the meal, the waitress told us she wasn't sure if everything in our food was vegan; she thought the flour might not have been vegan. We were a little confused, since I can't imagine flour not being vegan, but oh well 😅

This is a cute little vegan cafe with a seating capacity of 20 people situated in Jimbaran, Uluwatu.

About service quality, servers were very helpful and welcoming.
Don't keep very high expectations as it is small in size but I'm sure you'll get pretty decent experience here.
This cafe is a must visit for all those looking for clean vegan/vegetarian food options in Uluwatu, Bali.

Really tasty! Chickpea has lots of interesting options. I had the mushroom croissant which was so good I got the breakfast croissant delivered for breakfast the following day. The dumpling were also delicious. And the vegetable pancake. The restaurant itself is quite basic but the staff were nice.

Some improvements: the cheese burger and falafel rice bowl could use some extra flavor. Other than that, amazing.

The cheesecake was nice.
I ordered averything via Gojek, so I didn‘t make any photos, but also with the delivery everything was still warm and good.

Best vegan lunch in Bali - Edit
As seasoned Bali travellers, my husband and I feel we stumbled upon a gem! This was the best lunch we've had in Bali in our opinion. The sushi burrito was to die for! We also enjoyed their smoothies, cauli wings and breakfast tofu burrito. Highly recommend.
