On our trip we planned a stop around reviews given here . All to find out first that this place is fully automated and cashless. Now for most of you this is no big deal however for us it is. So if there would have been any mention of these facts we would have not Wasted our time checking this place out. Needless to say I can not comment on food taste as we didn't even try to order. Im not ready for the fully automated world we are headed towards.

The food was incredibly good. I had the fysh that was fried, but it wasn’t greasy at all. Just right! The mac & cheese was also delicious! My two suggestions: the description of the restaurant should make clear that it’s in a space called “city kitch” with other restaurants, so look for the “city kitch” sign! Secondly, the website is nonexistent/non-functional! Also, it took an incredibly long time to get my food for takeout order (30–45 minutes).

Taste Of Vegan Soul is a must visit if you're in Charlotte - Edit
I came in to try the ribs and Mac and Cheese, but it wasn't on the menu today. So instead I had the fried fysh with black eye peas, kale, and a wonderful biscuit. While I was thoroughly enjoying the meal, the owner came out and asked if I'd like to try a sample of the ribs and Mac and Cheese. Yes! Both were fantastic. I'll definitely be back.

THIS IS THE BEST food I have ever eaten in my life. Not just the vegan food, literally ALL FOOD EVER IN MY LIFE. I’ve been vegan for 8 years and I would consider myself a huge foodie and always try new vegan restaurants that open in London where I live.

We got the bbq ribs, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, mac n cheese, beans, potato salad, corn and also the biscoff cake and red velvet cake. I literally cannot name a single thing or element that I didn’t like.
My friend and I could literally not eat fast enough and we weren’t even very hungry when we got here, so that’s how you know it’s really good too. We didn’t leave a single bean or scrap of food left on the plate even though we were full cause the portions are so good 😂
The owner / chef is the sweetest woman in the world as well, she needs to go viral for her talent honestly!! She’s too talented to be well known for this insanely good food.
