Serves meat, vegan options available. Asian restaurant serving a fusion of Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese. Tofu and veg can be substituted for any meat dish. Specify vegan when ordering. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-9:00pm.
Nothing on the menu is marked so you need help from the staff and our server was totally unhelpful so we had to stick to the things we could count on which greatly limited the options.
We had miso soup, seaweed salad, vegetable roll, bean curd hunan style, and eggplant w/ garlic sauce.
The miso soup was just ok. It didn't have chunks of tofu, mushrooms, and vegetables like I usually get. Everything else was good.
Keep in mind this was my first time here.. maybe it was just a one-off bad experience.
Every dish except the miso soup was lackluster. The fried tofu was served almost cold and mushy. The dipping sauce was watery and flavorless. On the sweet potato tempura sushi, the tempura was also mushy the whole thing was a flavorless mushy goo. It was as though someone deep fried the sweet potato and let it sit on the counter all day then wrapped it in rice. I couldn't eat more than one piece. Nothing here was good. Even the wine I ordered.. I've had this brand many times and know how good it tastes and what it tastes like. The wine I was served tasted awful. Maybe it was just a bad bottle.
Service was friendly.
I'm very forgiving and try to find the silver lining in things but the experience was so bad I won't be back. If you find yourself in this area, try Thai Elephant next door.
Cute restaurant in the South Charleston mound area. Asian market down the street. My favorite dishes are the red and green curries with tofu, vegetable tempura, vegetable spring rolls, yam roll and hunan tofu. Sit down available with three dining areas.

Ample Vegan Options - Edit
A mixture of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine. Several dishes are easily made vegan and there are veggie spring rolls, too. Nice staff!
