Friendly, and knowledgeable about vegan foods - Edit
After visiting Eltham Palace and Gardens we checked HC for where to eat and Taste Coffee Shop came up.
Read moreWe parked at the bottom of the road by the park, free for 90mins, crossed the road and walked up to the cafe.
A friendly welcome and a vegan menu prominently displayed on the wall with the other menus. We had a salad, and a toasted sandwich with side salad. Very fresh and tasty. Staff knowledgeable about what is suitable for example the sour dough bread is made with buttermilk but they have sliced brown or white bread that is okay for vegans.
We took a banana and blueberry muffin away for later, it was huge. Later came and I can advise it was delicious, lovely soft sponge and juicy blueberries.
Loved it here and will definitely visit again when next in the area.
