Grandes Escolhas

O serviço foi bastante bom, assim como a rapidez do pedido. O local e bastante agradável e cómodo. Eu pedi a francesinha vegana que estava excelente e que será uma boa razão para voltar, numa próxima visita a Évora.

Pros: Atendimento, Comida, Local

Range of options

I tried the Franscecinha Vegan. It’s a very large meal in a deep bowl. It’s a vegan version of a Portuguese dish. I would describe it as a lasagne with bread instead of pasta, with layers of vegetables and sausage, covered in a lot of cheese and then even more gravy. I needed help to eat it all - worth it!

Pros: Try the Francescinha

Wasn’t sure what to find based on other reviews but the food was pretty good and reasonably priced.

Nice outdoor dining with vegan options

Had lunch at this restaurant yesterday (June 15, 2023) and was pleasantly surprised to find the vegan options. I had the soy based burger platter with potatoes and rice and a nice cold beer. The wait staff speaks English and our waiter took his time to explain the eight vegan options to me (the menu is in Portuguese of course). We’re on vacation from the US for a week staying near Lisbon and made a road trip to this town (Evora) for sightseeing of The Chapel of Bones and a nearby cork factory that was really interesting. Finding this place to “fuel up” before the sightseeing was a treat.

Pros: Several vegan options , Outdoor dining available , English speaking staff
