Amazing food - Edit
I took my friends here. They are not Vegan yet they loved the Falafel 🧆 dishes. I had a great salad and the owner is an amazing Canarios ( born on Tenerife). He wants to do more Vegan 🥗 food.

We had fun teasing 😈 him about not having Kombucha. He seriously said he loves real homemade kombucha but not the commercial stuff.
I told him I would tell the Vegans to come and ask him for Kombucha 😝.
People have mentioned that the dishes are 10-15 euros. This is very true. The portion sizes and the quality of the food 🥘 makes it worth every penny.
I do not give praise lightly.
This restaurant and its owner deserve the 5 star rating.

Excellent vegan options - Edit
Tasca La Tata is one of the few places in Santa Cruz where vegan food is offered as a option. However, unlikely from other places, here they take the vegan options seriously. You can find big portion of 'real' vegan food (not the usual vegan burger), freshly cooked, and adjusted to your own taste, if necessary. Raico, the owner, will treat you as you were any other customer, because, at La Tata, vegan and non-vegan food is equally made, with passion and expertise. Top choices for us are: Beirut albóndigas and empanadillas (ask if available). But we also tried their risotto with seta and it was delicious. Keep up with this excellence guys!

Good food but expensive - Edit
We tried two different risottos and found them to be delicious. Additionally, the portion sizes were quite generous. However, we did notice that the price for each risotto was 15 €, which we felt was somewhat expensive for the overall experience offered by the restaurant, including its atmosphere and general setting.

Hemos cenado 4 amigas, todo vegano, y aunque yo era la única vegana han disfrutado enormemente. La atención de nuestro camarero impecable, nos ha recomendado todo buenísimo. Las croquetas, pakoras , albóndigas de soja y el arroz con curry.
