Shrinking vegan options - Edit
Had some good breakfasts here years ago, but the last couple times they've had fewer options, lower quality, and poor service. Sausages in particular were dry and flavourless.

💭 Panini with vegan haggis, vegan cheese and mango jam. The mango jam is definitely the standout — adds a nice sweet twist that works surprisingly well with the savoury bits.

📝 I’ve been a few times now — mainly for this panini. It’s decent, but not mind-blowing. Their hot chocolate is lovely in winter though ☃️ Still haven’t tried the vegan thick shake yet, so maybe that’s one for next time.

had a good sandwich and its not too pricey, can recommend for a quick lunch. They also have plant milk for your hot chocolate. Lots of students.

Their vegan breakfast used to comprise tempeh/potato scones/hash brown, now it is more expensive and you get 1 sausage, 2 slices of haggis, beans, mushrooms, a bit of spinach and tomato. Their vegan breakfast roll options also got reduced. Shame. Service is good and quick. Coffee is very average.

Tartan has a great selection of marked vegan options especially the full Scottish breakfast. There is also vegan gelato options such as banana sorbet and yummy cakes such as an empire biscuit which I highly recommend
