Best Bakery in NZ! - Edit
The food is divine! I go there most weekends. They have recently catered my wedding and the food blew everyone away. Tart even catered for our gluten free friends. If there's better vegan food around I'm yet to find it!

I love this place! EVERYTHING is vegan. EVERYTHING is delicious. Mostly sweet things but they do pies and pizza too. Staff are always happy and helpful. Make this a regular stop..

I cannot rave about this bakery enough! Not only are they a completely Vegan establishment but they have such a great variety of delicious food. So get your walking shoes on and take a stroll to this bakery and while you're there pop by the cruelty free shop for some junk food.. because...why not?!

I discovered this awesome little Vegan friendly bakery a few weeks ago and just can't get enough of their scrumptious and merciful delights! Friendly staff and great range of options. Best of all is they have now gone 100% VEGAN! ❤️ There's also a cool Vegan shop around the corner! Thanks Tart Bakery ?✌️️

Philippa and her family and friends run this vegan friendly bakery and take great pride in their vegan treats! Classic kiwi bakery food veganised along with new crazes like cronuts and specialty breads made to order. Sometimes turns in to a vegan burger joint run by teenagers in the evenings - ask for their schedule when you visit. Fully vegan as of late 2016.

Tart is the best thing to happen to bakeries since slice bread (lol bakery joke). Almost entirely vegan, beautiful staff, awesome Facebook page with daily updates on what's cooking, always popping up at vegan events with their delicious food and good prices! The only downside is that they're not open 24/7 and sometimes other vegans get there first and eat all the damn mushroom pies before I can get my hands on one. :P

I dropped by because we had some omni friends due to visit and two of them were children so I thought I should try to make sure they had something a bit special. I bought lots! Cup cakes, two types of doughnuts and some "ham & cheese" turnover "croissanty" things. Everything was delicious and I packed the kids off with (most of) the leftovers so I wouldn't overindulge.

Vegan junk food galore! You really don't have to give up anything to be vegan. Tart sells danishes, croissants, pies, pizza, coconut cream donuts, and burgers on Friday/Saturday nights. Amazing food, and friendly staff.

Amazing vegan treats. The cream doughnut is on point! The owner has gone vegan and I believe is slowly turning it into a fully vegan bakery. Downside is there are no gluten free options!
