Great value, delicious - Edit
I got a pie here (the Mexican bean one) and it was AMAZING and so affordable. I was excited as a tourist to find a vegan pie to try. I stayed close to here and wanted to stop by again, but the hours are a bit limited on the weekend so I wasn't able to make a return trip. Next time!

Delicious and good value - but no gluten free! - Edit
Popped in in between vintage shops on the k-road. Really gutted that they have no gluten free options but everything looked delicious. Tried the cinnamon donut - only £3.50 so great value - and it was delicious!

This place was my staple for pies, desserts and the odd pizza. First of all, the PIES are amazing, beautifully flakey, delicious fillings - they could have jammed more fillings in but they have the best fresh pies I've had so far. The curry, the spinach and cheese, the mushroom and the vegetable pies are so good. The desserts are top notch - the cinimon roll and doughnuts were great!

In Auckland overnight I got 2 visits to Tart. 1st at Gt Nth Rd & at 2hrs before closing...not much left in the cabinets. I did try a fruit & custard pastry and a choc chip chewy cookie ~ they were superb. I could see why they were almost out of treats!
Read moreNext morning I went to this store. They were just opening and I got the full choice on offer here! I had the lemon chicken filled roll, a caramel cream donut and an apple turnover. Everything was delicious.
The quality at these bakeries is sublime....I couldn't fault it. Friendly staff and moderate prices too.
Get here as early as you can for the best options...its popular & for good reason. Treat yourself & you won't be disappointed.....I'm heading out to burn off some calories now but no regrets from me - Yum!

It is hard to believe that everything in there is vegan. It all looks so "normal" and the variety is so big. I had donuts, cheese sticks, sandwiches, pizza and pies and I am not sure what was the most delicious ☀️☀️ I would go back every day if it weren't for my wallet (and maybe health)

One of the best bakeries I've ever been to - Edit
Tart bakery really know how to do pastries. The cheese stick with caramelized onions and caraway seeds is perfection and the cheese and ham pastry is almost like the 'real' thing. The pies are on another level with several types to choose from. Really nice staff too. I've been to 35 countries as a vegan and this is probably the best bakery I've come across so far. The world needs more vegan bakeries!

The lady is super lovely. She told us which pies are her favourites and recommended the mushroom pie that’s made of like 5 or 6 different types of mushrooms. Sooooo good. The sausage roll was also one of the best I’ve had. And the coffees are excellent.

If you love classic baked goods gone vegan, you're gonna love this place. Reasonably priced with a good range of savoury (pies, sandwiches) and sweet (pastries, donuts). I recommend the danish (get it heated) and lemon chicken sandwich.

Best vegan donut evvverrrrr. And amazing sausage roll! Definitely sorted my cravings out. I’d probably get there early-ish if you want something specific as they’re super popular but only have a tiny little bakery. Some of their pies looked to die for. There’s a nice zero waste-style shop just round the corner too so check that out at the same time!

I had the ‘beef’ and pickle sandwich and it was honestly the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I also had the Hawaiian pizza which was delicious. Prices were fair and the guy working was an absolute legend!
