My favourite cafe in Halifax

My favourite things at Tar & Soul are not vegan: their cream cheese, their bagels, and their hot chocolate. But they're all vegetarian.
The soup of the day is almost always vegan and is without fail delicious. The staff are more than happy to list every single ingredient in every treat so that your dietary restrictions are considered.
They're closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, which is unfortunate. But it's understandable as they need the time to make literally everything from scratch.
If you're after a cinnamon bun (not vegan), get there early. They sell out.

Pros: Cozy environment, SUPER friendly staff

Cons: Only open 4 days a week, Limited hours
