Decent vegan food - Edit
The menu didn't include any explicit vegan options, but the waiter was knowledgeable about vegan diets and they were able to make a pretty decent Impossible burger for me. The salad was nothing special, though.

Maybe in better times? - Edit
We visited Tarpon House for breakfast. I asked about getting pancakes made with almond milk, but the batter is premade with cow's milk. The chef offered to make us tofu scrambles. The scrambles ($19 each) were good, served with two pieces of toast, but not nearly enough food for our growing boy.

The food was okay. The service was awful, terribly understaffed and as a result some were quite curt. I felt terrible for them. One of the waiters seemed to be doing absolutely everything, and he wasn't shy about letting us know about his unhappiness. When we were seated in the evening, it took so long for him to come over that we were searching "Taco Bells near me" on our phones. The food took almost an hour after ordering to arrive in each case. I'm guessing this is due to the times, and I do have sympathy, but we won't be back. There are better, less expensive, cheerier options nearby.

Nice vegan food - Edit
We had the bowls with tofu. It was tasty and nice, but little overpriced as you can expect in a resort. Lovely and helpful staff.
