Serves meat. Back in my home town for a bit. Unfortunately, the further south west you travel, the fewer dedicated vegan spots there are. Fortunately, the "Lounge" chain is on hand to save the day. This one is relatively new and has the usual relaxed atmosphere and quirky decor. There's a dedicated vegetarian/vegan menu if you ask for one. Nicely positioned in the High Street, with some outdoor seating, even if the views aren't exactly spectacular! Definitely worth a visit.

Only giving it a 3 rather than a 4 stars as it’s a chain, but it’s really a great option for veggies on the go who want a full menu rather than just the usual vegan burger and chips. Lovely staff, friendly welcome, food was fresh and the menu was encouragingly diverse. Try the Mexican fiesta bowl! ✨

I had the jackfruit burger, wrap, hommus and ciabatta, spicy fried potato, fries with a mountainous side of jalapenos which was a bit much but cheap. I can't remember Thomas e names of the dishes but I have photos I will post later.
Read moreOverall the food was great, atmosphere is lovely but the staff left a bit to be desired bar one young man who I doubt cared but didn't let on and was nice and bubbly.
Definitely recommend.
