Hit the spot - Edit
They have quite a few options here that can be made vegan, just specify vegan when ordering and you can get a veggie filling with no choose. We tried the corn tamales in salsa verde and Enmoladas. Both were excellent, but the Salsa Verde is my fave.

Amazing Vegan-Friendly Mexican Spot on Federal! - Edit
If you’re looking for delicious vegan-friendly Mexican cuisine, this place is a must-visit! The service was incredibly friendly, and the food did not disappoint.
Read moreWe started with complimentary salsa and chips—fresh and flavorful. For our main dishes, we enjoyed the Budas Burritos, packed with rice, beans, mushrooms, cactus, potatoes, and carrots, all smothered in a tasty green chile. We also tried the Spinach Enchiladas in tomatillo sauce, perfectly complemented by a refreshing mango water.
Everything was absolutely delicious! The menu is extensive and clearly marked for vegan options, making it easy to find something you’ll love. Highly recommend!
Pros: Clearly marked menu, Extensive vegan options, Great location

Authentic Vegan Mexican!! - Edit
Many vegan options at this great little Mexican place. And so many different flavors and sauces to choose from. We shared the nopales appetizer, I had enchiladas mole (enmoladas), my husband had flautas, my daughter had zucchini enchiladas, and my son had a veggie/ mushroom huarache. All vegan!! All excellent!

Pure Perfection - Edit
I just moved to CO from RI and have missed legit Mexican food.
Read moreI walked into Tarascos and felt at home. It’s an eclectic small dive that reminds me so much of the littles places in Mexico and Southern Cali.
The decor was incredible, fun, cultural.
The menu was expansive, so many vegan options! Tamales, chilaquiles, huraches, etc.
I ordered the enmoladas but the owner came out and let me know it wasn’t gluten free so i switched to the corn tamales wil th salsa verde.
We started with the jalapeño pop poppers. Pickled jalapeños filled with peanut butter. HEAVEN in my mouth. The perfect mix of sweet and spicy. The horchata was legit- i haven’t had such good horchata since my visits to Oaxaca. Then came the corn tamales. I can’t describe how incredible they were. Soooooo good and authentic!
I am excited to explore everything Tarascos has to offer.
The food, the employees, the atmosphere- all perfection.

Authentic Mexican Food - Edit
This tiny restaurant was full because of the high quality food. The service was low key and excellent and the many vegan options clearly marked. The vegan takes on the enchiladas and huaraches we had were delicious.
Read moreThe only reason for withholding a star was the small portion sizes. Previous reviews stated it was large enough to share, but we found ourselves hungry enough afterwards to eat again.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious Mexican food, Service
Cons: Limited parking, A bit difficult to find, Portion sizes could be a bit larger

Great veg options! - Edit
The food was flavorful and fresh! Often I find it’s hard to get Mexican food without questioning if it’s really veggie. Here, there are a lot of options clearly labeled and the staff knows what “vegan” and “vegetarian” are without having to explain.

Enchiladas Plazeras!! - Edit
Ever since becoming vegan my wife & I both really miss & crave good Mexican comida. The enchiladas plazeras (carrots & potatoes) is by far our favorite dish to satisfy our craving! We get w green instead of red chile & 1 plate is more than enough for us to split!! Delicious enchiladas!!

Great vegan gluten free enchiladas - Edit
We really enjoyed the zucchini and carrot/potato enchiladas. Both came with refried beans and rice on the side. More of a traditional Mexican retauraunt flavor but many vegan gluten free options. Great smoothies and fruit waters, too.

Neither vegan-friendly nor well-prepared - Edit
Came here last night because we were in the mood for Mexican and we saw it on HappyCow. First of all, as a side note from the food, they serve no alcohol, so don't get your heart set on that margarita. The chips taste like they're from a Tostito's bag. When we ordered meals that were "vegan" (despite them having items marked vegan on the menu), our waitress was confused and we had to specify no cheese or cream. My dad's food was still frozen in the middle. Our veggie burrito was swimming in an oily and super salty sauce. We asked for other veggies to be put inside. Otherwise it would have been a very plain rice and bean burrito. The food made me feel pretty weird afterward. Definitely would not recommend for vegans, as the food is extremely simple (no vegan cheese, protein, or sour cream substitutes - they just remove these items so your food is plain).

Damn good food - Edit
I trust Happy Cow reviews and this place sure didn't disappoint. There is a wide selection of vegan options marked in the menu. My husband got the bean and rice burrito and I got the chimichanga. Both were smothered in their famous green chili sauce. If I could bottle it up and take it home To another on everything, I would. The free chips and salsa was some of the best salsa I've ever had. Waitress was super friendly and the food was fresh and piping hot.

many vegan options - Edit
This is a tiny restaurant that delivers BIG! Reasonably priced. Many vegan options but be very clear that you don't want cheese. I had the vegan chimichanga and it was the first one I've had since I went vegan. IT WAS DELICIOUS! Filled with potatoes and carrots and topped with vegan green chili! So good! I also wanted to try the tamales, but I couldn't justify ordering 2 entrees. My omnivore family loves their food too. Try it... you'll like it.

A Hidden Gem - Edit
Tucked away between a marijuana dispensary and a Vietnamese restaurant is this Mexican restaurant with a surprising availability of vegan/vegetarian menu choices. Featuring the flavors of the Michoacan region of Mexico we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The owner/chef is very knowledgeable about vegan options as was our waiter. The dining area is small and humble in appearance, but clean and well cared for. We tried the frijoles burrito, the potato and carrot chimichanga, and some tamales. All were great, particularly the chimichanga. We took frozen tamales home and they were delicious the next day. We are definitely planning to return to Tadesco.
