Still on the fence

When I called to ask about vegan options, the person who answered did not seem knowledgeable. I ordered the mushroom taco, nopal taco and beans & rice based on the recommendations on this app. One thing I would advise that I did not do, is make sure to tell your server you don’t want any dairy. The tortillas have butter on them and the beans have cheese sprinkled over top. I’m new to this so I know for next time to ask and speak up, especially in a restaurant that is not generally vegan-friendly. The coffee is delicious, although pre-made mix. Just specify no cream.
Otherwise, the food is tasty.

Vegan friendly tacos

This place is legit for a vegan friendly taqueria. Just say no cheese or queso or dairy, for any veg item, and you’re set. They have mushroom tacos, and they have nopales ones, which are cactus. Those are my favorites. You can also get some huaraches and memelas, which respectively are flatbread (mushroom!!) and open faced tortillas. They have beans and rice. Their guacamole is good. Chips and salsa are not essential but can make things tastier.

If you are very bothered by the smell of grilled animal flesh though, don’t come here. The kitchen and grill are open to the restaurant.

The tortillas are good and fresh. So is the food. Prices are good! Always order at least 3 tacos or be hungry and need to order more!
