Phenomenal Texas chili stew! - Edit
I've been to this place once before, but I must have eaten the lentil stew and not the Texas chili one.. because I wouldn't have forgotten it! It's THAT good. In addition, it's filling, tasty and just spicy enough. It took a little while to get the meal served, but it was totally forgivable as the venue was quite packed and staff kept busy with mostly drink orders. At least it wasn't microwaved, haha.
Read moreGood music and pleasant vibes overall; I was also willing to use their wi-fi, whose password is ilovebeer, despite not having drunk a beer in my entire life. But Taps really does feel like a place that aims to be inclusive, far from the posturing or cut-to-fit mentality that seems so prevalent elsewhere.

Always an ok vegan dinner option - Edit
Varies from lentil stew to interesting sausage bowls. Often spicy! Worth a detour to check option of the day. Very good beer assortment including non-alcoholics.
