Best Raw

This is not a joke, I am not a friend of the owner, Or related or anything. So, believe me, THIS IS THE BEST RAW FOOD RESTAURANT EVER!!!!

Good raw food choice

The spot is inside the hotel, now it is not very charming since it is a self service of pre-prepared dishes that you can eat inside the café besides it.

So it is easy, quick and very handy for takeaway.

On the other hand not very charming for eating there.

The food although being pre-prepared, was good raw food.

Pros: Good raw food choice

Cons: Not very charming, Pre-prepared dishes

Expensive raw food, good atmosphere

Definitely a pricey place but I really enjoyed the food, especially the desserts. The atmosphere is lovely. All dishes are cold and it isn't somewhere I'd go every day but nice place to try.

Overpriced, not fresh

Beautiful setting in the hotel lounge area, but the food was as many others write just presented in the plastic box, which makes sense as it does not have a kitchen, but just a fridge where the food gets delivered, and that not even daily, but only once per week. Totally overpriced for that.
Way better food at other places

Pros: Lots of vegan dessert, beautiful setting

Cons: Completely overpriced , Not fresh

Cold food in a plastic box

Although the cafe is quite nice and everything is vegan, I was disappointed by the food all being cold and packed in plastic. For wrapped food the prices are very high (then again, it's London).
I had the Living Lasagna, which was okay, and a Liquid Salad drink, which I personally didn't like.

Pros: Everything vegan

Cons: Plasic, Prices

Eye-watering your overpriced

Thought I was coming to a nice restaurant to have a good meal, but basically ended up paying restaurant prices to be brought a plastic box with a snack-sized portion of food in it. If it was half as expensive, I’d still feel it was overpriced. To be honest I just feel like they’re taking the p*ss! The food was nothing special either. Disappointed to say the least!

Cons: Eye-wateringly overpriced, Portions far too small, Plastic packaging even if sat in the restaurant

Expensive

Ordered falafel with quinoa and a side salad. It was ok but I was surprised that it was simply taken out of the fridge and brought to me in plastic boxes... And paid $20 for it.

Tiny, Overpriced Portions in Plastic

I think the title says it all. I definitely won't be a regular here. I do understand that their overheads must be high, but there's no way those tiny portions are worth what they're charging. Seems to be to be catering for some of the Chelsea/Fulham set with more money than sense.

Get yourself down to a good Pret and have a proper meal, I say!

Pros: Looks nice inside

Cons: Very expensive, Tiny portions, Plastic packaging

Very overpriced and presentation apalling

The food is raw vegan so served cold, no problem with this however they present a plastic box on a plate to you. For £10.80 for a small box this is a joke. Atmosphere dull and waitresses not particularly attentive.

Pros: Raw vegan, Healthy

Cons: Very very expensive for small portions , Presentation of food awful

Overpriced cold food in plastic boxes

This is not a restaurant. You take the food from a fridge, pay and eat it out of plastic containers. Boo! 9 -12£ per meal to take, sit in 2£! Smoothie 6£ sit in 1£.

Pros: All vegan , Super chic interior

Cons: No plates only plastic boxes , Small portions, Overpriced

Nice but pricey

Came for coffee and cake, good coffee, but not impressed that all the food is just put on your table in plastic packaging, and I expected a lot more cake for 6 pounds.

Pros: Free cups of tea, Nice lounge

Cons: Expensive, Small portions

Takeaway

Choose packaged raw foods from refrigerated takeaway items. Very tasty but small portions and expensive. Lounge style seating in the hotel it is housed in. Service was very friendly and helpful.

Pros: Very tasty food. Helpful service.

Cons: limited items. More of a grab and go vibe.

Not the thing I’d go for..

I expected a lot from this place as people are generally raving about it. Finally, I ordered a Raw Pad Thai salad, Kale with tahini and lemon dressing and Kale chips. Legit, that was a big of disappointment and overpriced I’d say. These Kale chips were the least tasty I’ve tried in London so far. And salads were ridiculously small - I mean, being a vegan requires having slightly bigger portions, especially when talking about greens and vegetables, I know some of you can relate

Pros: tasty Pad Thai Dressing, A lot of sweet options and desserts

Cons: overpriced , relatively small portions , Kale chips are not tasty

Beautiful

I went here before the apparent renovation, but the food was delicious. First time eating raw and totally exceeded my (albeit, quite low) expectations. Really pretty cafe too, very fitting to whole experience.

New concept

This used to be my favorite raw café/restaurant in London. Wonderful nice seating area with a greenhouse feel - and amazing plates of food and drinks. Since the relaunch they seem to only do take away food (some drinks to have in) and everything comes prepackaged in plastic. I was so disappointed when they reopened.

Tables are in the hotel lobby

The cafe is actually located inside My Chelsea Hotel. You can choose your food from the refrigerates in Tanya's Cafe and ask for it to be brought through to the tables in the hotel loby. However, this isn't very clear when you walk in and although the seating area is nicely decorated you do still feel you are sitting in a hotel lobby.
I did enjoy the food (raw lasagne) but think I would just opt for a take away another time.

Food is prepackaged and is stored in the fridges, we looked and chose what we wanted to eat and at first we didn't know what to expect but we loved it! The dessert was also very good. The atmosphere is very relaxing and we felt great.

Cons: Small portions

Good raw food

Visited between lunch and dinner.

From what I understand, they have changed the layout a little bit; so now you can enjoy your meals in the cafe inside the "My Chelsea" hotel. Which means that the eating space is shared between Tanya's customers eating vegan food, and the cafe's customers eating omni-food.

We had a lasagna, and a couple of drinks.
I'm not a raw-food fan, but I must say that the lasagna was quite good. The portion size was also reasonable.

As we were almost the only ones, it's hard to judge the atmosphere; but the interior was nice and the seats comfortable.

I'm looking forward to trying other dishes next time I'm around!

Pros: yummy, good service, location

Cons: none

Great Raw food

I love Tania - I visited the restaurant and I have her recipe book at home so I know that her food is great. But the restaurant dissapointed me a little bit. The service was not very nice, the staff is not rude but not too friendly either - I felt like under surveillance ;) The prices are really high - for two small meals without drinks we paid 40 pounds... I know that location is expensive and quality of food is great, but for such a small portion the price is too high, especially that I had to go somewhere else after visiting to fill up my belly ;) Anyway, if you like to treat yourself and don't care about the money I recommend this place.

Excellent

Tanya's does great food in a pleasant environment with gentle service. The menu offers an appealing variety of inventive dishes. It isn't a place one can feast on a shoestring (smallish portions with biggish prices), but it's a fantastic place for a high-quality splurge, light meal, or even just drinks and dessert.

Highly recommended. Enjoy!

Fab now fully vegan

Love that this place is now 100 percent vegan. I had the acai smoothie bowl and they were giving away a free bag of acai which was great. Love the setting with all the bright girly colours and the plants - perfect place for a brunch or healthy lunch! Small menu but plenty to choose from in terms of sweet and savoury dishes and all raw. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Pros: Vegan, Gluten free

Lovely vegan food in relaxed atmosphere

We can really recommend the ironman smoothy, pineapple and lots of greens to get your tastebuds going. The kids had nacho's, dips and sushirolls that are good for the vegan anxious and we had lovely salads, a great combination of raw and fermented vegetables and quinoa. We accompanied it with crisp Chardonnay. The cocos chocolate bite (raw Bounty!) and blueberry vegan cheesecake were really tasteful too.

Pros: Fast service, Fresh, organic food, Central location

Cons: Service charge added to the check

good but pricey

I ate the nachos, caramel slice and a cashew hot chocolate. The caramel slice was genuinely delicious! The nachos were nice and the cashew chocolate I would definitely give a miss!

Pros: nice setting, pretty presentation , nice food

Cons: expensive, not much atmosphere
